有冇人收到九龍塘HKPS的信？今曰已經6／1都未收到呀，一曰未收到結果，個心成日心掛掛，抱一絲絲的希望，點解interview咗成個月都未有結果？

I suppose more than 80 kids can complete all the required tasks on that day, so even we think our kids are doing well on the day, we got waiting list only!

心態有少少唔平衡, 雖然知道太多人爭, 機會好細, 但係就不停咁諗係未自己做得唔好, 累佢比人REJECT. 講真, 咁細個人仔, 今日識得答你名, 識曬所有野, 都唔代表佢第二日可以讀書好叻. 所以我一路都覺得學校係揀家長. 咁今次比人REJECT, 我唔怪佢, 我怪自己(或者我老公多D)

Unable to offer u a place = rejected
Agree is expected but still feel a bit unhappy! Anyways, no need to blame on yourself or your kids! The competition is too keen out there and the rejection doesn't mean failure! Many other interviews ahead and let's try our best! This is the rule of the game and we need to relax and compromise!

其實真係唔知佢地收生用咩準則收架，我小朋友係超大B,當日面試in得十分好，所有問題及指令係100% Bingo,但收到沙田結果係Waiting;朋友個仔當天in得麻麻，但收左下午班，真係無得解釋

有時諗，學校會唔會要balance番男女生既人數，而女仔多數又成熟d表現穩定d, 所以變左多d囡囡 in得好ok但waiting/reject呢？

我就仲未收到信。
其實收生好多因素：
一、識人：我估唔係太大％，因為要識到高層（唔係普通老師）又要肯用自己職份幫你既未必好多。我識朋友教名校，佢同我講，佢都幫唔到佢朋友，因為佢朋友個仔interview唔得加父母學歷唔係大學畢業，所以校長唔比個位佢朋友。
二、學生表現：好似HKPS0甘多人揀既學校，做到晒所有task大有人在，不過學校都唔會要求100％做到，我估只係達到某個標準就可以。
三、家長表現：家長給予老師係點﹖老師觀察加對話已feel到，另外，再加家長同學生互動既印象。印象唔係只係言語，body language觀察了解比言語更多。
四、家長背景：表格有要求寫家長學歷、讀邊間大學、工作、學生國籍。
五、問卷：有冇兄姊、讀緊咩小學，仲有0個兩題open questions。
其實以上都係考慮因素，而且係排名不分先後。
到最後點揀，我估係要加加埋埋0甘多樣野。搵一0的係學校target既學生。

其實我估最後係抽籤架,你以上所講既條件亦大有人在,學位只有咁少,亦有小朋友唔識答問題(沙田),都收,其實真係只有樂基自己知道點去收生,唔緊要啦!大家繼續努力,希望大家都搵到心儀既學校,最重要係,千萬唔好覺得係自己or自己既小朋友有問題,考得唔好,所以唔收,只係彩數問題,收左又唔代表人地d小朋友特別叻,我真係覺得,只係佢好彩, GOOD LUCK !

我係HOUSEWIFE,老公係專業人士,表姐響HKPS 讀緊N班,表姐都係上年同校長講,校長答OK,SO表姐依家讀緊,早幾日去左同校長講,叫佢幫我女入HKPS,校長唔想幫,因為今年太多人,加上我女係7月B,佢地唔要細B,SO 我女REJECT左.
SO我覺得今年識人,都要BB係大B,細B都唔會幫到手.我響1007度問左D MAMA, 8個7月BIN,8個都REJECT晒.

我大囡係HKPSKT 2007年畢業，現在已經小五！我認識呢間學校係全因我朋友囝囝係度讀得好好 (他依架也是男拔中一生) 。 因此我當時家住屯門，都比囡囡搭長途校車出九龍塘返幼稚園, 直到阿囡係九龍塘上小一, 我先搬出九龍住。
我細囝係0907 B, 依家係HKPSKT讀緊英普am! 回想去年細佬interview, 我都真係比佢100分! 我地in neg teacher, 細佬同老師有好好interaction. 我對阿囝都好有信心，end up好好彩地收左! 無可否認，樂基真係一間好好嘅學校，細佬讀左半個學期Playground, 已經有好大好明顯嘅分別! 佢讀得好開心，日日都唱新歌仔比我地聽，仲用普通話唱埋校歌。語言能力強左好多！
所以各位媽媽唔好灰心！Reject or waiting 一定唔係小朋友唔叻，好多時都要講運氣同緣份！希望妳地可以好快有其他心義學校嘅offer喇！Good luck and all the best to all of you!!!

i also think that it is lucky draw。 gd performance is a must to join this lucky draw，i dunt hv any excellent background, no brother n sister can add marks, parents doesn't hv excellent academic bg too, not live in 豪宅, didn't dress up on the interview day, just walk around in the outdoor playground on that day, n finally get the am session offer.

其實 lucky draw 一啲都唔出奇, 幾千個 applicants 要揀幾十個, 即係平均幾十個小朋友入面選1個, 俾你都頭痛啦. 而且我覺得 HKPS interview 嘅 tasks 比起其他學校真係唔算難, 表現理想嘅學生一定超過收生數目, 學校自然要用方法決定收生名單.
我個仔都算大b, 都係 waiting, 但係我唔會怨係自己同個仔嘅問題, 講真唔好話幾千人, 就算得幾百人揀十個都未必揀中啦, 無謂為咗啲背景、學歷、關係等等唔可以改變嘅因素唔開心. 何況報得名校都已經有心理準備, 考到嘅咪當中獎囉.
希望大家快啲收拾心情, 喺嚟緊嘅 interviews 繼續努力.

would like to confirm the following
- KLT campus issued 3 types of letters: Accept, Waiting and Reject, while Ascot campus issued only 2 types of letters: Accept and Waiting;
- Ascot Waiting Letter is a photocopied letter, no names and ref no of the child's name, while KLT Waiting Letter has HAND WRITTEN child's name and application ref no.;
- almost all children admitted to Ascot campus are living in Shatin or neighbor region, e.g. Tai Wai...

You meant Sept 2010 - a small B?
Yes, chance is minimal - my son is also a Sept 2010 small B. I submitted a lot of applications but most sch (like Creative, St Cat, Cannan Kowloon Tong, LH), they don't even offer an interview opportunity for small B.
Therefore, if you don't have a back-up plan, you must start thinking one now.

因為見你提到你的小朋友是Dec細B，但我看過樂基的website,他們PN不是只收2010年8月前出世的大b的申請嗎?還是其實你是2009年Dec細b申請K1?所以想問清楚...

你的分享確令人羨慕。 我朋友的孩子也在HKPS就讀PN，無可否認他的確很優秀。
我女兒跟那朋友的孩子是同年同月同日生的，我跟太太都是專業人仕，而且一直住在學校本區，但女兒PN跟K1都未能考入。女兒去年考PN的表現的確不太理想，今年再去考K1的表現就很大進步。一坐下就對老師笑得燦爛，問題的對答也做得不錯，過程中尚算有禮，作為家長的我們已很滿意自己女兒的表現，但家長的表現及孩子一些我們沒注意到的表現等，都可能為學校的考慮因素。學校未能接受小女，只能說人家的孩子比我們的做得更好，他們更能滿足學校的要求。反正小女也享受了一次面試的經驗，何不落落大方面對結果。

ascot 有reject 信 ga , 我囡囡rejected by Ascot, 其實我覺得就算考唔到都唔代表小朋友做得唔好, 有時真係好睇眼緣同小朋友當時的狀態, 我囡見ascot時就因為冇小朋友桌椅,要爸爸抱住坐大人椅見,所以扭晒計,要落地玩,所以ascot 唔收一啲都唔奇, 不過, 收信時知道連waiting都冇,的確好hurt,我仲唔開心咗好幾日,不過,好好彩, 到最後竟然收到 kln offer, 所以,雖然有些收到waiting or rejected, 其實唔好太唔開心, 因為你唔知道嚟緊可能會有更好的,或更適合小朋友的offer 都唔定, 大家不要灰心, 繼續努力, 這才是最適合小朋友學習的好媽媽/好爸爸!

駿景封WAITING 信係影印信, 無名無姓.. 相反, KLT封係手寫BB個全名 同埋 REF NO... 咁手寫信照計唔會成百封卦?
想CONFIRM下, 大家收的信是不是一樣?

i totally agreed the assessment standard is not clear and transparent in most of the KGs. I do agree teachers not just judge how your children perform. But also how's the parents act. And may be they will give marks when you step into the school. At the day of the interview, I saw many parents with bad attitude and totally cannot be a role model of their kids. eg. jumping the line, not stopping their kids from pushing others, speak very loud on the phone when waiting...........I believed no matter how good their kids perform, the school won't take them because of their bad attitude. Sometimes a very small incident will give a very different impression. Honestly I was very depressed after the first two interviews because both rejected. However, after that I reviewed what I can do better. Then I got offer from another 3 schools.
