囝囝係12月B, 讀緊K1細B, 但愉快學習~
囝囝記性好, 表達能力強, 今年試過考龍校K1, 但WAITING!
另考到一間課程深的幼稚園收咗9月讀K1, 咁我諗:

1) 重讀一年K1好, 打好基礎, 為插龍校或考小學做準備, 定係
2) 照做細B?

雖然係跟得上，但始終都比其他同學（大Ｂ）表現比較慢熱，另就係怕考小一龍校（直資同私立）會遜息！點好呢？

我係讚成男仔做超大仔的. 我都有係ek試過post 呢個問題問其他媽媽意見. 但終每個人都有不同的意見, 每件事都有正反兩面, 好難有一面倒的答案, 我自己就越聽越心亂, 心入面有一個好想聽到的答案, 只係想有人support下.
如果你想考出名的私小如英華, cky, 一定係大仔有優勢, 細仔唔係無機會, 但少好多, 除非你好有信心三年後仔仔各方面都十分特出,比同年紀的發展都較快.
我就唔認同浪費小朋友時間的講法, 一生人要讀書的時間講緊二十年多, 遅一年半年唔係問題, 0-6歲打好基礎才是關鍵!

都好睇你個間課程深的KG係邊間.
龍校問題,唉......佢地多數教得好淺,真係龍到就話姐,如果唔得,到時真係唔知點同其他學生掙,有個唔算係朋友,只係PG一齊返的同學,今年重讀了一間龍,個小朋友明顯BB左好多囉.......

repeat讀一間非龍樓，最大的downside係如果到時考吳到心儀小學，但又花了一年，自己能否接受。

其實阿仔考到間係地區出名幼稚園，我住九龍東，好大機會會考到地區出名（最多人揀）的小學，雖然唔係龍校，但叫做買個保險，萬一第時考唔到直資，扣門都易啲！

I have the same case. Let him study K1 first. Next year, you may try to apply those really through train school. Depend on the result and the situation your kid have during his K1 studying, then you can decide again

我同你既情形一樣，我簡REPEAT，因為有龍校收O左佢＋相信大仔對學習給收必定比超細仔好，我想比佢打好個底，將來有排佢讀呀～

除非是追求名校,否則名少少的龍校我都唔會REPEAT一年,我贊成學習是一世,讀書是自己追求才是成功的目標,不過幼稚園就REPEAT,俾我唔會囉,小學成績好可以轉校,成積唔好將來就好難再REPEAT,而且終有一天有小朋友之間會比較點會唔同年,會其視那些小朋友,我老公都是12月尾出世,又係大學畢業,重好威話自己細人一歲考會考,而且時下又有小朋友成績好跳班,所以除非是牛津大學那些出名的學校就值得repeat,至於幼稚園太細了,俾我就覺唔值

我支持你! 如果我個女係9-12月, 又冇滿意的kg收, 一定要佢repeatK1
D人成日話浪費一年, 我公司D妹妹仔, 中五畢業升唔到, 邊做邊讀夜校, 由Dip, High Dip, Degree慢慢讀上去......
你囝囝12月B, 坐佢隔1月B, 大足成年, 佢行緊你囝囝仲爬緊, 佢串緊字你囝囝仲學緊ABC, 由K1至小3都冇哂自信心

I still prefer to repeat K1 for kid borned in Dec.The abilities different for a child if they are more than 10 years old may be minimal, but for a kids less than 5 years old, the differences may be obvious. To compete in getting in primary 1, being an elder kids could have an edge. Just my personal opinion

撇除可唔可以讀到名校呢筆, 細仔呢, 除非佢能力可以拍得住年頭大仔, 佢响幼稚園直至小學階段, 响學習能力方面, 多數遜色於大部份同學仔, 唔係因為佢蠢, 而係佢腦細胞未開發到果個階段. 呢樣野引發既問題係, 佢會漸漸缺乏自信心, 覺得自己無用, 人一無左自信心, 好多野, 包括我地最緊張既學習進度會受影響. 呢個反而係我最關注既問題. 我個小朋友都係10月出世, 佢讀緊K1, 今年再比佢考半龍校, 好好彩比佢考到2間, 我老豆都好反對我要佢粒孫重讀K1, 話做咩咁細個比佢repeat, 話幼稚園做咩要重讀, side時間, 佢又唔係讀唔上. 我同佢講我唔係睇宜家, 我係睇 future. 呢個決定可能會影响佢一生既學習. 再講, 如果要佢小學先repeat到時佢心裡仲難受.

我都有比親戚話點解要讀多一年，越快越完越好，我諗佢係以家庭的經濟角度來看，但就忽略小朋友的信心能力，其實讀多年的話，話唔定佢第日的成就會好啲呢！

其實真係好睇小朋友本身, 冇話repeat一定好/唔好, 我妹妹係11月細囡, 真係到p2/p3突然一支箭咁跑出來, 仲大學畢業添. ,不過佢之前就考最後10名 ... 所以佢好反對做細囡 ... 覺得浪費時間喎
而細佬係大仔, 讀書唔得, repeat咗幾次都係唔得 ...

所以, 最大問題係家長怕唔怕repeat咗都考唔到好的小學, 因為真係一年比一年難, 遲一年又多啲人爭; 但如果真係只為打好基礎, 咁當然repeat會好啲la

my son also Aug 10 bb, and i am also think apply K1 for 2013-14...since thre is no K1 accept him unitl now, seems big baby is really better... my family are all against me... but i think bulid up confidence is very important

Please refer to my last year's post and you know that he is better not to (or cannot) repeat K1.

8月b 唔可以repeat ne ... (only 9 - 12 bb can) otherwise, you willl lose the marks to apply primary school

Read the discussion..i agree do not repeat unless you have no choice.

If i got offer, i wont let him repeat......

What's more is, most famous KG won't even accept your application if you are born in Aug 09, apply for 13/14. 死心吧

其實仲有好多唔出名的kg 有pm 位, 所以都一定有書讀嘅

The number of small B student is quite a lot. 幼稚園 K1開生日會時,你就知其實好多所謂名校都收左好多Small B.

i know many kids of my friends are super small B, born in Oct-Dec 09. But they all have got famous kindergarten's AM offer, even some of the kindergarten are thru train school eg. True Light, St. Clare, Precious Blood, LL, Kau Yan . (I know only Pui Ching Kindergarten do not accept samll B. These kind of statement shows in Pui Ching Kindergarten's applicaiton form)

I don't think being a small B is an big issue. The teachers usually according to the kid's age to test them during the interview. 唔通每年10月到12月,幼稚園唔攪生日會?

Littleroundface, 你想小朋友讀local school定IS？抑或兩邊都ok？
你小朋友有offer未？
小朋友今年in得不滿意，是坐吳定？吳出聲？定係其他原因，你檢討吓原因，跟住幫他慢慢改進。K2可以考插班，很多好學校都可以試。不要失望，小朋友去到3歲左右會突飛猛進，努力會看到成果。

My son is a small boy and i am planning to let him repeat K2 next year. I think you can understand more on your kids' ability in K2 compared with K1. In K2, they start to learn writing, then you will see the differences in small boy and big boy. Of coz, i am not saying every small boys need to repeat.

如果決定repeat, repeat K1 or K2 會好D, 擔心K2 插班會因少位較難入! 大家分享一吓!

K2在原校repeat較順理成章，想轉校repeat可能較難...

聽朋友家長講，宣小K2有不少人in，但都應該係插班的現今K1生為主。

『記性好, 表達能力強』已經好足夠。
本來叻就唔洗諗要做大仔啦，做大仔叻人地都只係會話『車，大仔嘛，梗係叻過人啦』。
安排到的話可以試下比佢讀兩間Ｋ一至兩個月，上午K1下午K2，你自不然會知道自己要點選擇。

其實我覺得, 如果佢本身叻仔要佢repeat, 好似哂左佢, 又學唔到野.
乜唔係學新事物先開心, 先有興趣去求知?

如果話都會比佢出去學D新野呀, 咁點解唔K1時自己同佢補下? K1 好容易之嘛, 你有心教佢佢好易就追到, 點會話一定比其他人差!?
