My daughter 3.5 yr, a question has always been popping up whether I should send her to learn English Phonics or general English oral course. (don't tell me for both! Just choose one)

She had participated Phonics for a few mths when she was 3. From my experience, I think Phonics is not really helpful for kids in such a small age. As u know, phonics is purpely memorise and it is no fun at all. She just totally forget what she had learnt after class and seems like wasting money.
On the country, oral class seems to have more fun as it is more interactive.
Can some other parents share with their thoughts ?
