SFA無咩研究, 因為出名深. 反而KTS我係欣賞學校除左學生, 亦重視家長教育, 如何兩方一起培育小朋友.

KTS都是好學校，如果我無SFA offer, 我一家會選KTS

其實講深係咪SFA深過KTS呢? 覺唔覺得SFA好似剩讀書多D，但KTS就多D活動? 這個只係我感覺，唔知係咪真?

KTS has a beautiful campus while SFA is strong in academic training (maths in particular).

In fact, both schools together with APS are all very schools. You can't go wrong with any one of them. I'll choose them over most of the thru train DSS schools except the top tier ones like SPCC, DGJS and DBS.

Since these schools will only call the candidates on waiting list in Jun next year, I suggest you holding the offers for a while and get some first hand information from the parents of existing students before making the decision.

KTS SFA APS
Band 1A 32.54 40.27 43.42
Band 1B或以上 58.73 61.74 67.11
Band 1 81.75 77.85 78.95

三者比較，APS 拔尖培養比較好，KTS 補低功夫比較好。

奇怪！好多人會評價sfa 教得深、又谷；但係aps 程度差吾多甚至高少少，但吾多話谷、大壓力咁？請賜教

我只想帶出其如兩間小學公佈年度是2010-2011年度，但aps則是2009-2011年度，這只有兩個可能性，一是佢地將兩年度學生派位結合一起公佈，另一方面可能佢地admin搞錯年份。這樣會誤導家長，錯覺派位很強，若真的admin打錯年份，那麼家長要考慮將來子女就讀會否成績表的分數都搞錯。

2009-2011寫法是無問題，有其他學校如沙呂都是這樣寫，因五年級開始呈分，故兩年來算。

You should make sure whether it is your own misunderstanding or the school's mistake.

見過sfa功課, 小一已經要做research. 去公園搜集資料 / 統計咁
有料又捱得到應該會好勁, 捱唔到父母同小朋友都辛苦.

Some more explanation for why I support KTS, however, all of the following are personal views and may not be correct:

1. SFA:is very good at training on academic but I feel that somehow the training is more machanical.  My child is not that type.  I also afriad that my child will be get used to machanical academic training and has less development in analyticl mind.  For KTS, I believe it is also push but less machancial then SFA.

2. KTS emphasis the co-operation between parents and school and also as good bonding among parents.  It is very good as you no longer has to worry about what the child's classmates will be as you do not only know his/her classmates and also their parents.

3. Parents are highly selected by KTS (2nd interview is mainly on the paretns I can say) and that is the main point for sending children to a private school than a gov't school - not for their living standards but for the fact that all of them are very committed to nurish their child.

4. KTS is at Kowloon Tong net.

5. SFA is also good as it is an English school.  but I think I can be convinced to give this up for the other points (actually I found English is much easlier than Chinese if the child starts to learn both language at the same time)
