There is no such so called 精英班, as I know, students in all ESF secondary schools (except the 2 PIS which I don't know) are assessed in Maths and Science and Chinese for allocation into different classes of different levels... so a student can be in top class of Maths but maybe second level class in Science. Students of different levels are taught according to their standards and progress. There is no such term or label of students as 精英!

However, I have asked a colleague with her child studied in Island School. She don't know about the allocation into different classes of different levels. Can any parents further confirm that all ESF secondary schools take this approach ?

Shatin College also have such arrangment.

South Island School has that arrangement (Chinese and Math) as I know.
