根據校長所講,新生英語日的目的是早日找出英文較弱的學生,系開學前提供課程俾佢地上,呢個好似系校董會既想法. 盡量去既話,對小朋友本身都有好處架.

Did you receive a SMS from SPCCPS today? I have a missed call this morning and later found that SPCCPS sent me a SMS to remind me about English activity on 3/12 from 8:30 - 10:50am. Besides colour pencils, remember to bring some snacks and water for your kids.

I think most of the parents will give up SPCCPS only because of DG / DB. SPCCPS is a caring school and it's really tough to make a decision. Will there be any parents facing such a happy problem? What will be your choice?

小一上學期是冇測驗考試的，要到大概4月才有測驗，考試應該在6月

小二起上學期係2評估1總評, 下學期1評估1總評. 其實咁多次有好處, 每次考完就過, 唔會番考, 範圍相對較少.
so far我唔覺谷, 例如初小時默書會隔開一星期中.一星期英. 偶而仲會skip左.同埋都算好後期先開始有unseen. 考試亦唔會出現教得淺考得深的情況. 反而係相對語文科算教得深就係真既.

係呀, 相對好多傳統小學, SPCC真係吾算谷, 功課量也合理, 最緊要學校生活愉快, 讀得開心是最大收獲.

我都好記得梁校長不止一次提及 "愉快學習". 這理念我非常欣賞.
小朋友明年九月才入學, 但作為家長的始終覺得有很多不明朗的事情要面對 (例如小朋友能否適應小學生活? 如何替小朋友溫習? 校車和課外活動安排等等), 感覺總是很不實在, 有很多東西也想問.
想請教各位家長, 你們的小朋友在初入學時會否不習慣? 父母可以在哪方面配合? 有哪些地方要特別留意?

放心吧, 想當年我的孩子很快便適應了學校生活, 而且還很喜歡返學, 由於一年級上學期無評估, 比較輕鬆, 容易適應, 只需要鼔勵孩子多閲讀便可了.

I believe it's easy for the kids to overcome the high acedemic standard. But it's not easy for the parents to get along with the high standard parents.
Last time, I saw most of the parents are already known each other and saw that they come from high level class.

they know each other because their kids are from the same kinder but is ok u can still get along with other kinders parents..don't worry.

我覺得同一幼稚園+有哥姊在SPCC/SPCCPS的,已經構成左好大部分,所以大家成日同好多人點頭

Maybe it's a christian school, many parents in SPCC I met are humble and nice. One point is, they are all very caring parents and pay much focus on their kids. To me, SPCC is not that 高不可攀.

阿仔都玩得好開心, 佢話做完WORKSHEET仲有好多遊戲玩, 又有貼紙派. 之後睇埋 TOM & JERRY. 好似去左嘉年華咁開心.
哥哥姐姐好照顧他們.
我都覺得整個活動的安排很好,很細心.
