自閉症之謎，逐步被破解。美國加州大學追查 180名患自閉症的兒童，驚人發現自閉症男童的頭圍及腦部會逐漸變大。專家由兒童介乎 4個月大至 19個月大時，定期量度其頭圍，發現自閉症男童異於常童，其頭圍會越來越大。
受訪兒童踏入 3歲時，再接受磁力共振檢查，結果顯示，較遲病發、即介乎 15至 30個月大的男童，其腦部面積較早病發的自閉症男童增加 6％。專家未有在自閉症女童有同樣發現，箇中原因待進一步研究。專家續稱，由於自閉症男童的頭圍會變大，若家長發現年幼子女有此情況，應及早求診，評估有否患自閉症，盡快治療，避免惡化。

我記得我做產前檢查照超聲波時，醫生突然話，個頭圍大咗Ｄ喎... 我當時好驚，醫生見我咁，就話你唔駛咁緊張，我係話大咗Ｄ啫

出世至幾個月大頭圍都超標。

有無人懷疑過用電腦時間太長，幅射問題引致自閉?

Over-sized of brain head is common in autisitic kid even I also observed quite a few delayed kids having such phenonmenon.
My son has over-sized of brain circumference from birth to 2yrs. But the size has diminished RAPIDLY after 2&3 mths old when I started the Bio-medical T and diet control (GFCF, yeast, nuts, and nearly 100% organic diet). At that moment, it seems that most ability catch up rapidly. Now, the head size is pretty much the same as others, might be a bit smaller than average, just from my observation.
I suspect that other than inflammation was cleared after BioT saved over-sized head, another key reason is when I start 100% organic diet from 2-3 yrs old (reduced to 50-70% from 3-4 yrs old, now only about 30-50%), many artifical growth hormone in food was cut down, the overall physical growth (not only head wow) was therefore slow down, problem is being eased to quite a large extent. (At that moment, I dont know the effect of organic diet is that significant, I just do it liberately in view of helping my kid to get rid of MSG, preservative & artificial colours. Even DAN doc said it is not a must but preferrable at that moment, it seems worth now...)

我兒子出生時頭圍偏細，跟住一直都有在醫院兒科跟進，直到兩歲到醫生話雖然偏細但一直都跟住條線上所以無問題，現在頭仔大細我覺得OK。之前我都諗過唔知會唔會因為細個時頭仔偏細影響到佢發展慢。

我懷孕照超聲波時, 醫生都話我仔個頭係正常水平但偏大.
出世後頭圍都正常, 但大大下個頭真係越來越大, 睇返D相都幾驚訝, 因果時唔覺.
而家比例上都係偏大, 所以人人叫佢"大頭仔"

Dear Capricorn2521,

When considering whether kid is having a over-sized brain, 3 areas you may take into account
1: Actually circumference - the direct measurement of the size of the head with other kids
2: Proportion of the brain - Proportion of each lope (which you probably need to do a scanning), proprotion of the brain against the head secondly. Some delayed kids might not have over-sized head, but clearly, you could see the skewed brain development (too heavy or misproportion???) might probably lead to a small face ( or even distortion of their face in some cases). lastly, the head & body proportion during growth & compared with general average.
3: Genetic comparison - direct comparison with the brain size with their immediate family - parents, brother or sisters if any primarily, and then observation about relatives such as grandparents, uncle/aunts, nephews or cousins for the general size or any irregularities of brain size.

My son too.5個月大做產檢時,醫生已經話個仔頭圍好大,因為我老公都係大頭仔,所以無理佢。

我仔出世時, 又係大頭仔, 38.5cm (38周1出世)

果時, 一直都有返醫院兒科 check, 去到9個月大, 醫生話降返去正常 size, 無問題, close file
