Which one you choose between St Paul Coed and Raimondi for girl ? which one is more demanding ?? Thanks !!

no matter if yours is a boy or a girl, if your kid is bright enough to get an offer from SPCC, of course SPCC!
Their moral education, the teachers, their admin, are excellent.
Demanding? I would believe SPCC too because they have very bright students (from bright parents). Even the school does not stretch the kids, the parents themselves have high standard towards their children and would stretch them naturally.

I think the answer of this comparison is too obvious. Is there something that makes you worry?

Yes, thanks. Personally I like SPCC much more. Since my hubby is RC old boy, he may have bias on RC. And we heard some comments that SPCC is demanding with very heavy 功課壓力. The school life is picked with academic competition only. AND there will another issue of 同儕之間的比較. Raimondi may be a bit down to earth....and more chance for girls for internal activities since less girls there. Any more comment please ? Thanks again !

26 Nov is the regisiter date of RC, isn't it??

I think 90%ppl will choose co edu > RC
esp. for girls, co edu has a much better boys: girls ratio

Please correct me if I am false : SPCC students are using school own teaching materials while RC students buy from outside. Correct ?

SPCC and Raimondi are not in the same league, in fact miles apart. It's just like asking choosing DGS or St Clare. A lot of people on the waiting list of SPCC would say thank you to you if you choose RC.

As I remember, I read from somewhere that HKCEE >14marks for coedu is >80% and RC is around 50 to 60%...... Don't know if that is correct...

More information about public exam result for SPCC:

Based on p.11 of the SPCC school report (with link below), the result for external exams are summarized as follows:

For 2009/2010 HKCEE:
No. of Students: 179
No. of Distinctions: 425 (Average distinctions per student = 425/179 = 2.4 As per student)
No. of Credits: 787 (Average Credits per student = 787/179 = 4.4 Credits per student)
No of Students with 5Es or above: 178
No of Students obtaining 14 points or above: 91.6%
No of Students obtaining 6 As or above: 35 (35/179 = 19.6% approx.)

SPCCPS is top school and only DGJS is comparable. If your girl is smart enough to go in SPCCPS, why do you choose Raimondi?
