Thanks God that my son was successful in P1 interview of St Paul's Co-ed and St Paul's boys. Would you pls give me some opinion on picking up one?

In your case, 更加要揀st paul co edu 啦！如果唔係第時比個二仔話你唔公平啊！除非，你問過佢意願啦。

Actually I think Co-ed and College are in the same tier and level! With similar reputation and standard, I think either one is good for your son. The point is that co-ed and boys school is different so it really depends on what you want.
But if your daughter is already in co-ed, seems to me that Co-ed is better cause you can handle better if your kids are all in the same school.

樓主個問題實太有趣, 你問呢個問題, 等如問緊同屬 Band 1 的喇沙 VS 陳瑞祺喇沙

兩間喇沙的分別, 大家心裡有數

無疑 St. Paul's Boys 都係一間好的名校

但 St. Paul's Co-Edu 在名氣和認受性上, 真的跟 DGS 同一級別, 全港頂班

If you are aiming Co-ed for your youngest one, then the more you should accept the offer for the second one, no? Would a school like Co-ed not have hard feelings if you reject them for your second kid? How would that increase the chance for your third one? Don't see the logic here.

No I'm not the old boy of St Paul's Co-ed. I'm from a very ordinary primary school. My wife's primary school even don't exits anymore!

yes, I would say that all my 3 kids are smart but with different talent.
My eldest daughter is good at language and speech.
My middle son is good at Math.
My little son is good at playing, haha, just kidding, he is too young to be good at anything....

I vote for Co-ed.
Actually, Co-ed and St. Paul's Boys are not in the same level

Thanks, with first kid in ( which luck was an important factor, there are so many smart kids) there is immense pressure for the 2nd one!

You are right. My first daughter in P2 and my middle son is going to be P1 of Co-ed. My little son will have tremedous pressure!!

Sorry, another question, did you volunteer a lot? I am a working mom and I only signed up for those one off ones, not the reading parents etc... I wonder if that is important...

Haha, both I and my wife are working all day long. We are same as you that we did not have enough time to be the reading Dad or reading Mom. But anyway I think Co-ed will understand our situation. It is always fine, so don't worry!

If both you and your SONS love St. Paul's Boys, go for it, otherwise if you turn down the offer from Co-ed this time, your youngest son has no chance at all.

I think the chances of your 3rd son getting into co-ed is very high (even higher than alumni's kids).  Congrats to you, co-ed is a very good school.
My daughter will try this school next year, can you share some interviewing tips for us?

Are you a cardio MD?  hehehe, just guessing!
