Ying Wa's my 1st choice and other parents' dream school. So if you parents have already been luckily granted offers from your desirable private/DSS/gov't schools, will you still consider attending its 2nd interview if you're shortlisted? Wouldn't it be better if you lucky parents leave the chance to other desperate parents?

If you parents have been accepted by your dream schools like LS, DBS, etc., would you still attend YW's 2nd interview? If I were granted an offer by my dream school, I wouldn't bother to attend it. Please share your views or plans.

I got a very good offer yesterday,
and waiting for another 2nd in result.
My husband and I determine not to attend YW 2nd in even if our son are on their 2nd round list!

I'm curious to know the plans of those lucky parents, whose children can get in their dream schools. If I were lucky enough to get accepted by LS (which I failed w/20 points), I wouldn't want to attend YW's 2nd interview so as to leave a chance to other parents, who include you & me. Also, this P1 admissions process is tedious and exhausting. For YW, we still have to wait for the result on 1/1/2012 and then in end-Mar. 2012 if being shortlisted in 2nd interview. Actually, I would want to skip it.

Anyway, if you want to get in YW, your dream school, hope you'll get it too.

我諗，一日學校唔出offer，都無乜理由咁無人情味唔俾人註冊津小啫...

I agree that Ying Wah is good school especially due to Principal Miss Lam effort in the past years. But my concern is that one day she's not with the school or retire (PS, there is no rumor she retire and just normal prediction), whether her successor (e.g. vice principal) can maintain it to the current standard?

The school will not know you have a place with govt subsidised school.

On the contrary, if YW gives you an offer, you have to sign an understaking saying that you will not procede with 'lucky draw' stage AND any offer that you accept at the discretionary stage will be revoked.
