On top of teaching style, what's the difference in ECA and academic standing?

How many homeworks may not be a good indicator? (No offence) 2-3 homeworks, but one is project, in terms of time spending can be a huge difference, but the learning outcome(s), I will put project in front of copying & writing type of homeworks ......

My son is studing in PK Primary 1, and my best friend's son is studing in LMC. My son spends about 1-1.5hrs a day to finish his homework, and my friend's son spend more than 3hours a day to finish the homework (not including dictation revision).

of course...different style must has different outcome, so that's why parents should choose which school is more suitable for their son.
