Just went to St Paul's open day and I am sure that Mathsis taught in Chinese until P6. Their teacher told me this and I could see that the Maths homework displayed are allin Chinese. Not sure about the other subjects.

不明白什麼叫"RC只是用英文上課, 而St. Pauls完全用英文"?! 我所知RC是英文小學, 數學科學全英文, St. Pauls用中文教數!

中文: RC- P.1-P6 普通話授課, St.Paul: P.1-P.3 廣東話, P4-P6 普通話

校舍: 兩間都是新校舍，St Paul 有說過可能起泳池，但我hb說起泳池是複雜，但現在他說看不到有起泳池的準備！

宗教：天主較ＶＳ基督教

中學：兩所學校都有Back Up, 喜歡邊間見人見智了

RC小學約70%升原校, 有少數去了DBS, St. Paul co-ed, 或皇仁.(可參考RC網頁)

RC據聞好"谷", St Paul好嚴!

以前我都一定選st Paul, 但見bk之前又有d post話中學RC 成績好過st paul, 所以如果st paul都收既話都會十五十六唔知點選。

st. paul's有一或兩屆會考成績低了一些，不過傳統上仍是好學校，朋輩背景不俗，而小學程度高，這是多位朋友兒子正在小學部讀的意見。老公是st. paul's old boy，因此也對它有些偏愛。

Although I went to St Paul's Open Day, I have never been to Raimondi's open day, so I can't really compare these two schools.

My husband was an old boy of Raimondi. He studied there from K2 to Form 7. In his old days, the school was not pushy and there were a lot of ECA's to make sure that students had a balance life. He had a happy school life there. Most of my friends from Raimondi are humble and gentlemen. I may have 偏愛 on Raimondi too. I remember when I was in Form 5, two of my classmates were not accepted by our own school as their HKCEE results were not good enough. Then they were accepted by St Paul Boys' form 6, so I had an impression that St Paul Boys' academic results were only so so. (I used to study in a band one girls' school in HK Island.)

However, St Paul Boys' open day gave me good impression. In my opinion, St Paul sounds more famous in many people's heart, but Raimondi may have better academic results these years. Both are good schools. Maybe you can consider their locations and if you want your kid to grow up in a boys' school or a co-Ed school?

"St Paul sounds more famous in many people's heart, but Raimondi may have better academic results these years."..... yes this is what i feel too. 10 out of 10 ppl said to me St Paul boys is more famous then RC but seems the fact is RC has better academic results...

any parents of the two schools share whether RC is really 谷 and whether st paul boys is really 嚴?
academic achievement is important but we just want my child can study there happily and with less pressue

i have a friend's son who is studying at St. Paul. She told me that St. Paul is a super great school. School doesn't push extremely hard on children's academic result but more concentrate on whether they can have a balance life on study and play. I am really impressive to heard this. But she said although school's aim is to let student have a happy and balance life, they really have their own method to train student to have very good academic result. Anyway, homework is not that much.

Do you have any data showing St paul college accepts more than 90% from St paul primary? Because it seems no such figure in school web site. Thx

Please note that RC kindergarten will be re-open in 2012. Just a wild guess, RC might change to private/DSS in the near future. At that time, RC will have the right to accept all RCPS students.

St. Paul's College for sure - better reputation, more famous, all rounded environment, actually better overall achievements (even academic these days compared to RC) - however, much competitive and aggressive

Wondering what is the correlation between running a kindergarten and changing the secondary school to private/DSS?

I guess these 2 are more or less in the same tier. Guess the differentiation for reputation is just a matter of perception?

i know a friend, her son studies in St. Paul and sayd YES, accept over 90% in these 2 years.
