SFA is one of my top cup of tea and the other results willcome very late so if I got SFA, guess my life would be
Easier. And I gave up some DSS already as really like few private more. By the way, you got KRS already? I have not. Please advice . Good luck.

I am glad to inform you that your child (Name: , Ref. no.:) has been successfully admitted into our School for the academic year starting 2012-2013.

Please be notified that the detailed procedures for the registration are listed for your esteemed concern.

Date for the Registration: 26-11-2011 (Saturday)
Time for the Registration: 08:30 - 12:00
Place for the Registration: The School Office (1st Floor)
Registration Fee: $1,000.00 (The registration fee is for the reservation of the place of Primary One and is not refundable. It is regarded as part of the School Fee for September, 2012. The balance of the School Fee will be paid in June, 2012 after further notification.
A self-addressed and stamped ($3.50) envelope is necessary for mailing some further information from the School. The Candidate's name and number should be clearly written at the back of the envelope.

Any successful candidates who fail to come for the Registration on the date indicated below, shall be considered to be forfeited and their places shall be substituted without any objection.

Totally agree, thanks so much for those parents' regardsthough their children may not have offer now. Hope all kids can enter 心儀schools. Indeed this school-hunting road is not easy but we have done our best. No regret. Add oil there is still central allocation n door-knocking phasesto go. Be strong and try to give a break to ourselves and the kids, they are all v great in surviving through this terrible period. I'm taking my kid to Disneyland as a gift for her patience n hard work in all those different types of interview.

You can check recent post (early Oct - early Nov), with "SFA" in topic .. you can find the info you want ... the info may not be completed as the interview questions were too hard .. kid can't tell all intensively but sure you can find some loose info on it.

As far as I understand, the boys to girls ratio at SFA was 2:1 for many years. Does it hold in yr 2012/13 ?

Those rejected noneed disappoint, you can still knock its door after lucky draw announce. usually there are still 10 to 20 seats release as some might give up the offer if they get another good offer in lucky draw or other private school like APS. it is not final, my daughter got the offer by knocking the door too. (my friend gave up the offer even after she got the seat in knocking door, she chose another school finally) 希望在人間

認識一個女仔三年前考sfa 小一被reject, 佢讀easy-going 幼稚園. 一年前成功插入sfa, 現在成績中上.

德雅好學校, 雙班主任, 有愛心, 對小朋友發展很好, SFA很重學術, 資優或喜愛數學的小朋友就比較合適, 如果小朋友唔谷得就唔好攪....

of course knock the door right after the lucky draw announced and they will notify you the interview if they think your kid meet their requirement.

Please note only those who apply their school in the first round can have the chance to knock the door after lucky draw (this almost apply to all schools).

I can tell it was really hard time in P1, always yell at my daughter and I went mad and disappointed every time (I cried many times and felt desperate) when I got the test papers back. Most of the mom in her class were housewives and I need to work so I was very worry. But later I find blaming her is not a good way to get improvement, only encouraging works. Now she is ranking middle and we know how to deal with her school works, we have the revision right after every lesson is taught. (of course I am sure there is room for improvement because you can't always discipline and she is only a kid)

The advice I give you is to study hard but not to blame her when she got low marks, motivate her and tell her you will be always by her side. Every one has strength and weakness and don't compare with others, just do your best is fine. I always tell her I can accept her poor result provided that she has already worked hard.

BTW, she got TSL, KTS, GHS and SFA but I finally picked SFA because most of the girls in SFA can get a seat in good secondary school and the std of them should be (to my understanding only) the best among all. Only DGS and APS failed.

just want to know, u said 4 schools accepted your daughter after lucky draw;
1. did your daughter on waitint list or rejected?
2. did the 4 schools called u or u knocked door for the place again??
