Dear GH parents

My daugther is so lucky that she got accepted by GH and she is from outsider not GH kinder.

May we know if GH primary would have mandarin lesson. is chinese subject taught in Cantonese or Mandarin ?

Any subject besides english is taught in English ? any net teachers ?

many many thanks for your advise. This would help me to understand the school more .

Hi, Ewongmum,
Chinese subject taught in Cantonese. Students has another mandarin lesson. Besides, General studies also taught in English , but Maths taught mainly in Cantonese and they also have English Maths.

Thanks so much in responding me. how long does it take for your daugther to finish homework in lower grades, P1-2 ? many tks

It really depends on your daughter. If she can concentrate in doing homework, then should be able to finish it within 2 hours.

學校每日都有一小時功課堂, 低年級如果快手, 原則上可以響學校完成絕大部份功課, 甚至可以做晒所有功課返嚟; 當然, 如果小朋友習慣嘆慢板 OR 習慣等家長放工後陪做功課的話, 亦有同學仔一年級開始已經要做到十一點! 所以呢樣真係好DEPAND ON小朋友做功課既習慣!

我女算係好合作嗰類, 除非無功課堂(今年三年級, 佢逢星期二有課外活動, 所以無功課堂) (另外全校今年逢星期一都無功課堂, 因為要上MORAL EDUCATION), 否則多數九成功課響學校完成, 返到屋企多數只係我DOUBLE CHECK佢做齊未, OR做番啲做唔晒既功課, 所以暫時都係每日半小時左右就搞掂!
