如題, 兩間都係直資, 教學語言方向又差不多, 咁.... 兩間大家會選邊間呢?

I had this problem last year and I gave up TSL finally.
There are a few reasons:
1. my daughter learned Chinese in Mandarin in K3. So I want her to keep learning Chinese in Mandarin since P1. TSL would have Cantonese Chinese lesson in the first year.

2. The English environment seems to be a bit stronger in SMC. At least I found out more NET in SMC.

3. The 3rd language of SMC would be stronger as they need to take public exam.

4. We needn't consider the sec. school issue anymore.

5. The class size of SMC is smaller.

6. most of the activities are held within school hours so we needn't spend more time on any other courses after school. (at least in the first few years?)

7. my daughter has better feeling towards SMC.

and some other minor reasons...

of course TSL also has it strength!
- cheaper fee
- swimming pool
- golf course
- own big theater
- musical every year
- learn 3rd language in a happy and less-stress atmosphere
- with the control by PLK
......

Well, TSL is a good school too!! I love it very much as well. However, we must choose one.... giving up TSL is never easy. Many friends regarded I was a bit silly!

I am glad that my daughter likes SMC pretty much. she enjoys going to school more and more.
I also feel pleased with this school so far in most aspects. :)

and SMC is quite different from most local schools. They need independent students. For example, the teachers won't collect the homework during the class teacher period. Students should hand in somethings actively in some occasion.
Students have more freedom at school. Teachers might not take the students to everywhere as most local pri. school.

I can say their style is more or less like the international school.

Personally I think TSL is more whole-person education. I've been there several time and their student always shown their confident in language and good attitude! TSL had a bit small campus in compare with others new school but she got everything for student! 正是麻將雖小,五臟俱全!

真係幾難揀… 如果淨係比較兩間小學，我會喜歡陳守仁多d，因為學費相宜之餘學校配套好，學生成績好（從過去升中派位來看），加上係保良局辦學有信心保證。

但SMC 既一條龍係大賣點，小學生响小五小六時考試唔洗呈分，對學生同家長都無咁大壓力，仲唔洗煩升中選校既問題。

如果我唔怕煩再搞一次升中，我會揀陳守仁。但事實上我好怕煩升中選校呢！

仲有SMC 係天主教，陳守仁就無信仰，要睇你重唔重視信仰既問題。

I will choose TSL, because its 升中派位 is very good.

I gave up TSL and enrolled my girl to SMC.  my major considerations are
1.  TSL has large class size (35) and SMC 20 for Chin, Eng, Math and life education
2.  SMC foreign language class will carry forward to secondary school
3.  No need to worry Secondary school allocation. Even though current result of HKCEE/HKAL is not outstanding,  I believe the critical factor on academic excellence is the student herself, not the school.  Moreoever, the first batch of SMC primary went to secondary only last year, so I think it would change a lot when they are taking public exam 5 years later.
4.  With good language ability, I can still submit my girl's CV to Brand 1 Secondary school for their consideration.

Both schools are good, but I will take SMC. As I don't want to go through such painful process again. I feel very sorry to the kids who have to bear such pressure. The are only 5 years old...!

The competition of getting a place from a desirable secondary is more competitive! Don't want to play this game again!
