I heard that they will ask the kids to 兔仔跳 and to differenciate different kinds of vegetables. My girl even doesn't know how to jump properly.

yeah same here, I want to know too. The website said need to sight original of all supporting documents. Same for all old girls from SHCK, SHCS and SHCC or just SHCK?

舊年無考我仔兔仔跳, 但有考生果. 早幾年我朋友女兒有考兔仔跳. 考兔仔跳無問題喎...去年考救恩, 企響度跳晒成首兒歌, 文又考武又考, 我覺得佢地考得不知幾全面, Good!!

企響度跳都okay, 兔仔跳要踎低跳就有d吃力呵呵

年年題目都完全唔同，兔仔跳只考咗一年，係兩年前，係企響度跳，不用踎低

The acceptance are mainly based on interview performance.

No rabbit jumping for my girl last year. Asked to say the name of the fruit/vegetable hold by teacher. My girl was asking tomato last year.

Supportings from any Canossian Family is accepted. Like mother is graduated from St Mary Canossian School / College.

The website mentioned you can supply reference information from ANY Canossians schools, so definitely SHCS and SHCC are also included.

I can't say there are a lot. But there are certainly quite many students whose mothers are graduates of SHCK, SHCS or SHCC. But I tend to think they like their children studying in SH rather than the kindergarten using this as a determining factor.

The suitability of the child is based on their own progress in development, but not their month of birth. At least, your daughter will not be prejudiced because of her month of birth, but whether she is suitable to apply in which year, will be heavily depends on her maturity in mental and physical development.

But my recommendation is always to try within the appropriate year first, if really not suitable then you can always try again next year.

This is how the requirement stated every year, so it hasn't changed. The ideal age is always within the target year from January to December.

I won't say the super big B in 2008 are disqualified, but super big B is not commonly seen among this kindergarten students.

Yes they are managed by the same organization, the Canossian Daughters of Charity.

The medium of instruction is Cantonese and it would be the same for the interview. From what I have heard from previous cases that some children will use English to answer but the teachers will ask them to try to answer again in Cantonese.

How about answering the shapes and colors? If the kids reply "red" "blue" "square" "triangle" and not "红" "蓝" "正方形" "三角形", the teacher will ask them to say again in cantonese?

umm.... yes. Sorry I don't want to disclose too much details on how the interviews are conducted. The teachers may help them during the process, even though they don't know the correct Chinese terminologies.

Hi EFJ3,

It's a co-ed kindergarten so there are boys for certain. Since it is related to girls-only primary schools so there are far less boys apply and so is the turn out. I think approx. less than 10% are boys here and they will be grouped together in one or two classes, with not more than 10 per class.
