如接受EC offer, needs to give up 協恩.
20分搏Heep Yunn, 我住net 34. 值搏嗎?
EC seems very happy but academic results are not very strong as the syllabus is bit too lax.

I checked with the Heep Yun friends and they said the chances is 50/50. I am not sure if you have already secure a place in hand and also you will need to think of how you could support your child. Heep Yun is a demanding school so you will prepare more time on her homework.

20 marks is 50/50 to enter in first round, but if also lives in district 34, definitely will try Heep Yunn for luck if fail in the discretionary stage.

協恩中學附屬小學計分類學額得十幾個(此校有很多20分或以上分數的競爭) , 20分都幾博woo。樓主你係唔係讀協幼?如果係大抽獎抽唔到都仲有9個叩門位比協幼生, 如果唔係協幼生你地有冇私小backup?通常派到協恩既都有私小backup至咁博。 原來抽到協小只可開心幾日,因為協小由開家長會後就feel到學校好谷,每日功課量真係唔小ga,仲要應付黙書及測驗

若果自己住係34區的話,可能我會揀協恩,因為長期坐校車,都好浪費時間,亦會影響學習的.

你有私校BACKUP緊係博協恩啦(但得42個位), 我囡上年都有私校BACKUP,我地都係NET34抽到協恩, 祝你好運

HY 和 播道 完全處於 2 個 Level
HY 係傳統名校，Grant School，
播道太新，很難比較
我就覺得應該博一博 HY，始終傳統名校俾到學生的東西新校是很難做到的，但當然家長要有一定準備。
你個情況我建議可以報一些私校打底，e.g. Good Hope, St Francis, Scared Heart, St Clare 等，不知你有無報，這些私校 7 月大抽獎放榜後都有人退學，都有位，但都要有些關係，例如天主教徒，有神父、修女的介紹信，收的機會很大。
10 月我也去過播道（小女 Interview），我做 admin. 的，入到去第一個感覺是校舍很舊（才幾年），牆身很多污積，地下也圍了一處處，像個地盤，我知道近年建築界用料、手工很差，但這樣新的學校搞成咁，admin 一定有一些問題。

EC - Happy school life.
HY - 20 pts. 50/50.
If you don't mind and want your kid growing up happily, EC is ok.
HY, more competitive.

We got Heep Yunn space yesterday with 20 pts! Thanks to God. I also like EC a lot but has to make a choice. Now waiting for other private schools.

I estimate the chance is like out of the 18 spaces, at least 15 have 25 pts and so only 3 spaces for 20 pts holders to have a lottery. Chance is slim indeed. But u dun try u never know! As in my case, I just tried and let it be and we got chosen ..... we are grateful.
