The chance is 150/600, is still very low chance of acceptance. I don't think you can prepare anything.

But if we do some calculation:
For instance, Principal Mrs Dai see 1pair of girls every 20 mins. (As interview times seems to be at XX:20 and XX:40), 1 hour will see 3 pairs = 6, for 8 hours a day (8am-12//2-5pm) = 48, for 9 - 9.5 working days (01Nov to 11Nov, inclusive). Then should be around 432 to 456 girls.

This is a more reasonable amount of girls Principal can meet. It is already very busy for her.

只interview小朋友, 不過最好父母一齊出現, 因為是校長親自見, 父母同校長會有一面之緣.

I seems the intervew start at 9.00 to 4.00 only.

1 hour will see 4 pairs = 8 girls x
5 hours a day (9am-12//2-4pm) = 40, for 9 working days (01Nov to 11Nov, inclusive). Then should be around 360-400 girls.

used to be 500 I think but bear in mind, more seats w the new campus so might be more will be selected for 2nd in this yr.

dont forget within this 500-600 applicants, some are daughters of old girls, related people, etc

I know that 2nd round was planned for Nov 1 to 15. I also know that the principal does not do interviews on Wed. So, if not counting Sat, that would give 9 days for 2nd int.

I also recall that for the first round, they were interviewing for 6 hours a day. Wonder if the principal will do the same for 2nd round?

If so, then my calculation would be this:

total no of days: 9 days
total no. of hours: 6 hours x 9 days = 54 hours
no. of kids per hour = 6 (3 pairs, 20 min each)
total 2nd round candidates = 324

Some had quoted 500 candidates for second round, however if my no. of days is correct, and going by past experience each session was 15-20 min long, then 500/9 days/3 interviews per hr, then the principal would need to interview for 9.2 hours a day?

Not sure if my logic is correct, but just a wild guess

都一定係精英
入圍已經好叻女
就算係二選一

我覺得一小時應該是8個,不是6個,因為舊年waiting room內的人相當多,每對小朋友一齊入去見校長大概10-15分鐘左右,唔算太長.

上年一小時見四對小朋友，兩個小朋友入去見一老師及校長，歷時10-15分鐘，in左好似十/十一日約五百人揀140人。主要玩小遊戲然後一個見老師，一個見校長，之後對調，內容主要傾計，平時生活，乜都可以問，冇得亦不雖準備。
