以過往經驗, waiting list 成功入讀機會率大唔大.

我地真係好喜歡SMC, 可惜只係waiting....(估計自己應該都係前頭一批)

In this year, it's hard to say, the no. of applications increases a lot while the no. of admitted students dropped 20 seats. I heard some sibling's younger sister or brother are on waiting too. Luckily in our application year, they hv more seats otherwise, I didn't think we would success.

My girl is now P.2 in SMC. Back then in K.3 She was on waiting list and I kept sending letters to VP asking for a seat. We got an interview in Aug and got admitted. So don't give up.

you wrote the letter in chinese or eng.? and how many letters in total to have the interview again?

You are right. Offer will be given so long as the child meet the school's requirement. Interview began even before the cut-off date.

yes! I got the offer in early Oct last year. So I would suggest people to apply for SMC earlier if they love this school.
Even if you are not accepted, you can put more afford to other schools then.

Hi, 我8月20日學校第一場簡介會已經交表囉, 9月6就in 左..如果真係first in first choice就好啦, 咁我係waiting 會唔會前一d..?? 因為我地真係好喜歡SMC.

無收到offer 果時, 真係好down...

I wrote in English, and I sent letters to VP after I received assessment reports from Kinder, so probably 2-3 times in total.
