各位家長，剛剛收到St. Clare's 既面試信，原來同玫塊崗撞時間，應該放棄邊間學校呢？邊間好D? 聽聞玫塊崗會先收回原校讀Ｎ班既小朋友，只得40-50 個學位左右，那大家會點決定呢？

I will try St Clare as it is a tradition girl school with good reputation and K3 graduates are guarantee admission to their primary.

Both of them are good kindergarten and difficult to get in. Did you try to rearrange interview time?

Personally like St Clare because of their reputation especially after experiencing their interview last year.

Their interview arrangement last year was very good and no need to wait too long and provided with seats. This is a good school for girls.

We have applied for both too!
Luckily Rosaryhill is on 12/11, St Clare's is on 26/11.

To be honest, I am bias! As I am Rosaryhill old student, so I truely believe RHS is the one for my daughter, but then my sister in law is St Clare's old girls, so for obvious reason, my husband wants to apply for St. Clare's!!

St Clare's is all girls, RHS is co-ed
I suggest you try to call and change date for either one, so you don't miss any chances!

RHS prefers to accept the kids studied PN either from their school or others. To be honest, I don't think it is difficult to have a seat from them as many of their PN students may not choose their K1 if get the place from other better kindergarten. My girl is super small b and also got their PM offer last year but gave up finally.

If we focus on looking for a suitable kindergarten to kid, I think it is RHS but it is just dream talk that not think about the futurn plan...

However, I can say RHS is a good kindergarten and more fun and activities for kids than St. Clare but ranking of their Primary and Secondary school are much lower than before.

I will choose Rosaryhill School because:
1) They have four full days language class - English and Mandarin. Kids learn the language towards theme playing.
2) Montessori - certified montessori teacher will teach the kids once a week and they have plenty of montessori toys
3) Big campus - Kids can enjoy a big and beautiful campus with lots of playing area
4) Kids can enter their primary school directly. Their primary school isn't bad at all. Students from their school are trained to be polite and the school emphasize sports, ethics, polite etc... I was told from my neighbor that students are given lots of opportunities to perform in some open competition. They can also take turn to be class monitor or prefect too.

This is what i heard from the others. Hope my info can help.

I agree with what Janice has shared, my daughter is a half-Korean, the reasons why I found her this school are similar with what Janice stated.

The curriculum and environment are great, I don't think that the primary section is bad -- it may not be as well as that in the past, but it still is a good school.

Spanish will be taught once a week, while Mandarin will be taught in daily Chinese lessons in P1, English has always been a selling point of the school, what else do you want?

When you think of the secondary section, of course you may hesitate, but then it will be over 8 years from now, situation could be changed in future, it is too early for parents to worry that much at this point.
