補充少少 - 拔萃行領袖生制度，學校授權他們可以懲罰違規同學抄校規多少次。如果被罰學生感覺不公平可以向訓導主任、副校長及校長申訴。該位可能新家長可能奇怪點解學生罰學生..........

睇篇野我同意某家長絕對系怪獸家長, 但我不太相信真的有這樣的家長, 可惜某家長沒有出來講一下佢點解要"投訴"及前因後果, 我相信可能是另一故事版本......

Yes. It's a famous tradition of DBS to train leadership and discipline. Just copy school regulation if you violate school regulation, eg. late, speak in assembly, improper uniform...... more serious cases will pass to discipline master for further investigation and disciplinary actions.

Terrence quoted an example that a prefect punished a junior to use 5 colors ball pens to copy the school regulation. The school considered this example was too much........ and over-ride the punishment.

一直以來, 就算小學的風紀都可以罰學生, 何況中學的領袖生, head prefect, 這並非男拔的獨特風格, 況且學生犯錯被罰是很正常. 初來香港接受教育的官二代, 富二代子女, 如果不慣吃苦頭的話, 可以考慮退學, 明年轉去讀Harrow, 氣受不慣會危害健康.

在香港許多學校也有風紀, 一來可以讓學生協助管理秩序減輕學校負擔, 二來亦可以讓學生在規管秩序時學習自律, 在我以前的中學裡, 當年紅衣主教來訪學校時, 我們一個警察也沒有讓他們進學校, 只是讓他們在外面戒備, 場內讓教師帶領風紀員和校工管理秩序, 也沒出什麼亂子. 可見有些學校還是挺看重風紀的角色, 自然也會讓他們擁有適量處分學生的權力, 若果學生不滿意, 還是可以直接向教師投訴, 實在不用出動家長吧?

Not really know about the details.

But how about if the prefect manipulate his power to bully or oppressed the students, will this be possible?

Can the student or the parent challenge the tradition of the school?

These are only questions, no intention to challenge the school or those who support this school...

Very interesting statement! I just curious why this student highlights "略帶普通話的口音" on this letter?

If the parent speaks perfect the Queen's English, will he still highlight this in this way in his letter?
