Just woke up....I missed the one in the morning, but i am going to pop in the one in the afternoon 2:30 to 5:30...unfortunatey it will be held in chinese...(actually i registered for both) are kids allowed? I want to bring my son there and get familiar with the surrounding for him, he is so excited to attend the school... anybody going? anyboyd know if kids are welcome?

apart from the first english lesson part, all 3 of us, esp our son really enjoyed it.

we enjoyed touring around the school, getting a feel of the settings of the classrooms, and see so much of the student's writings & homeworks.

my son was facinated by all the high tech interactive teaching tools. I can see they put a lot of effort and really willing to spend the money into building and making the school better and better for the benefits of its students.

honestly, i was quite discouraged after hearing the briefing from TSL(english session) ...they didn't present their school as good as they could have.. SMC 's principal speech was quite informative, but again, I think they could have present their school much better too overall. esp the first part, about all the english pronounciation and linguistic stuffs. it was a bit too long.
but in terms of hardware? both are about the same...cos they are both a Y2K school, but SMC added many new stuffs like the touch screen monitor, interactive screen for teaching, ipads,kinect for learning (all the kids love them) & wi-fis... etc
in terms of faculty --> SMC, cos seems more international and multilingual. SMC also has a nurse office,
i didn't visit the library at TSL...as for the library in SMC, i think they do need a much more wider selection and increase the quantity of books suitable for each grade. esp when they stress a lot on reading...
Generally, i like SMC more, but I didn't attend the interview at TSl cos it was in conflict with another school on oct. 8...
