聽到好多家長都講宏信系一間好的學校
但另一方面
學費就比較貴
我想我的小朋友讀這所學校
但又擔心負擔問題 ,
政府又無資助
大家有何意見 ??
家庭收入多少先讀這學校較好呢 ?

Hi Mom, did the School issue announcement yet that the got approval on the school fee increment ? as I did not see it.

however, I found my school fee autopay looks reflected the change, can anyone tell me actually how much of the monthly fee for Y7 ?

Please expect 5% increase in every academic year. If the government approved the IB curriculum, the tuition fees will go up to $1x,xxx for sure. This is what the vice principal told me during the information session.

如果申請到IB要交$10,xxx學費，咁咪好大負擔，但LA係直資學校喎，政府有資咗學費，$10,xxx政府會會資助呢，因為我層經聽過一些直資學校校長提過，政府是不會資助行IB的學校的，那LA真令人很混亂，請問有沒有人可以清楚解答呢，如果萬一讀了LA，到時學費升到要過萬，真是從新想清楚。

You are right, they have two streams. IB and 334. The government would not subsidize IB curriculum, therefore the fees will increase dramatically. The vice principal said we can compare the fees with 啟思. You may ask the vice principal directly. This is what they told me in the information session.

The fees will be different in their Yr9 of studies. 49% will go for 334 and 51% will go for IB. For those who opt for IB need to pay $1x,xxx tuition fees. You can opt for 334 if you cannot afford the tuition fees. So it means that if you opt for IB, you need to pay over $1x,xxx for Y9to Yr12.

I don't know yet. Money is also my main concern. If you choose IB, you may still apply Universities in Hong Kong through Non Jupas.

於簡介會上,校長有提到宏信申辦直資學校係要行IB教育架構... from year 1 to year 12, i.e.Education Bureau係會support IB 學校; besides, from year 9 to 12, has to be in two streams. IB and 334, 亦都係因為宏信係直資....會受某一程度監管/政策配合....
出面私校行IB....都係8xxx-10xxx per annual, 直資嘅學費唔會貴過私立呱

只係考慮到時會讀334還是IBDP, 不過想讀都未必有份讀

Hi....

Sharing with you about school fee of IB...

A DSS in TseungKwanO, school fee for 3-3-4 is about $35,000-/annum because they have subsidy from government ....however, the students who take IB will need to pay about $60,000/annum....because they don't have subsidy from government....

I heard from other parents of the abvoe message.....pls feel free to correct me if i'm wrong......

We need to plan our future....this is 12-year study....a long way to go and better to plan it well ahead....and we can't change to the other way in the middle of the road.....
