Application forms for KG.2, Sept. 2012, will be available from the school website for download from Monday, October 17, 2011 to 11a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011.

May I know if the KG really restricted with kid for the corresponding year

My kid is Dec 08 but if she is going try this year, chance is very minimal. Want to give her a try next year for a Super big B case , would they entertain?

According to the website, this KG only accepts application for children born in 2008.

That's mean, in next year, this KG accepts 2009 children only.

Am I right?

I read from website that they straightly only accept kids born in 2008.

My boy is born in Dec 2008 and now he is only studying PN in other school. Is it possible for him to skip K1 and then go to K2 of CCKG (that is if he is lucky enough to get accepted)

I am not challanging CCKG as i just want to know. cuz DGS is my target but she can study and grow up much in her kg right now! That is my consideration!!!

應該咁講, CCKG 專收一批好精英既學生, 所以佢地既學生考小學時更加容易入一些頂級名校, 例如DBS同DGJS, CCKG自己都講明唔係同呢兩間學校有關聯, 唔係必入架

睇返舊post好似所有applicants都有interview,但有人投訴入去唔夠一分鐘返出嚟,好敷衍

我唔comment呢一樣野因為係校長決定IN幾耐,不過如果我小朋友睇FORM已知唔係學校杯茶,我唔介意唔in我小朋友,無謂浪費大家時間

My guess is that if a kid looked scared in front of westerners and was not able to hold simple english conversation (not just ans questions), then no point to continue.

The one available at Bookazine is 11.5cm * 23 cm, they don't have what we need.

I called at Popular Book Store (大眾) and there is none for what we are looking for.

I could only buy 11.5cm x 23 cm from Citysuper.

If I still can't find 11 cm x 23 cm, I will go ahead with what I've got on hand.

The most common size I'd seen should be 11cm x 22 cm.

即飛去Bookazine, 一望包裝冇列明size, 心一沈，一度，11.5x23cm!!

A friend of mine has a daughter who was also studying at CCKG. Of course they were aiming at DGJS. But eventually, they got rejected after the interview. I guess, even if your kid study at CCKG, it does not guarantee the acceptance to DGJS. Can we conclude that parent's background and relationship to the school are more important than anything else?

佢話要self adhesive 信封, 咁你哋係咪真係用要"mit"膠紙果隻?

最麻煩唔係個尺寸，而係要指定11cmx23cm之外重要"自我黏貼"，去過唔少文具舖，可黏貼既就唔岩size，岩size就冇黏貼...

最後估唔到係"美亞文具"搵到110mmx229mm自我黏貼信封(即11cmx23cm)，$15一包25個

Exactly. My son had an interview ther last year. He was very mature that he could tell me what had happended inside the Headmaster's room. My son said he went into the room and Mrs. Fielding asked him something about matching. He did it and he got a sweet (if your kid had a sweet means that he got the right answer, the amah there told me). After the question, Mrs. Fielding had no conversation with my son but just looking at the papers bought along by my son to her which was the application form and the education proof (written in Chinese). Other then that there was nothing more.

The lesson is the this is a purely luck and the impression by Mrs. Fielding over the child. If the parents are old boys and old girls, sure win unless the kid is fuzzy during interview.

I don't have a orange sticker, but the teacher marked something on the right corner only. We are not Christian, not DG/DB old girl/boy.

really? I didn't see I had the sticker although I was from DG+CCKG and my girl was baptised.
anyway, i am very sure my girl won't be accepted because she's very shy although she's very well versed in english (don't know cantonese at all).

今日見到真係好多小朋友都係由daddy mammy湊返學,小朋友個個都好斯文,頭髮都梳得好靚

真係同一般kg好唔同

有人有sticker on form 只是因為出尼幫手check form 的人(家長義工?)做法唔standard. 我估cckg係第一年用呢種方法收form, 所以未standize.
好欣賞cckg有改進，家長唔洗拎form排三句鐘，交form又排三句鐘，值得一讚!

I arrive at 9:15am this morning. There is a lady check my form when I line up, but didn't mark anything or put orange sticker on it. Then I submit to a western people who put a chop (maybe date chop, I'm not sure) and I left at 9:17am.

THERE ARE TWO DADDIES IN FRONT OF ME. One mentioned in the form daddy is from DBS and Mommy is from DGS. both from form 1-7. 都唔知真唔真？ Actually I don't think the school will take the effort to check all these information is correct or not. It just mention in the form the signer declarate
all info is correct.

Another daddy has prepared a 3-4 pages CV. The teacher said no need to submit. The letters there are so small and details are so long! Even more than the adult's job application. Don't know why the child has so much while she/he is just 3 years old!

Third observation. The is the first KＧ where I saw so many drivers there, at least 8-10 waiting for the employer to submit the form.

There are no specific mark on the form - just a tick showing the forms has been checked and signature of the teacher who checked.

Now just wait for their letter. No receipts are given.
