Does anyone has any comments about HLY,I would like to apply HLY for my daughter.Thank you very much

i can tell u it's a very good school. the school is small (2 classes in each year) but the students are receiving lots of personal attention. my two children are both in this school. the principal and the teachers care the children very much. they treat them not just names but people. the small setup of the school makes it flexible and responsive to the needs of students and parents. we love hlyis!

It's a really good school... but it's super difficult to get in if you don't start from nusery class!

This September, they don't even have enough spaces for siblings! The down side is that their secondary school is super far... in Sha Tau Kok!

HLYIS is a good choice if you want your kid to be an open-minded and confident child. My son started from nursery and he likes his school very much.

My daughter studied in this school before (from pre-nursery to reception). It is a good school. The teachers are very nice and they always pay attention on each student.

My daughter is a quite girl, however, she becomes more confident now.

is it really super difficult to get in? We are not living in Hong Lok yuen now but will definitely move to HLY if we can get an offer, do u think it will help if we tell the teacher about this during interview? thanks!

You would have to physically already own a house in HLY to get priority. It doesn't help if you tell them. In fact, if you don't start from nursery, it's very difficult to get into Year 1.
