可考慮:默段/篇 之用
~接龍遊戲,一人(你)接一句(小朋友)
~分段做:用紙把默書內容寫出來,一句句,叫他拼回整段,然後朗讀,拼好一段,默出來 (當然之前溫好詞語)

是否大部份字都默唔出? 小朋友幾多歲, 幼稚園認字能力如何? 如果足六歲, 最好搵專家check check 係咪有讀寫障礙.

首先要處理嘅係佢一路温一路喊呢個情況.  佢喊, 多數係驚唔識俾人鬧(未必係你真係會鬧佢, 可能係老師比較嚴等其他理由).  要氹佢講返怕乜嘢, 如果唔係第日怕咗中文就弊啦!

之後就係佢"唔識"呢個情況.  佢對啲課文感覺點? 會唔會覺得好悶?  如果出少少填充遊戲同佢玩佢會唔會抗拒?  平時寫生字情況如何?

多口問句: 讀默定背默?  如果係背默, 可以"唸口璜"同佢唸熟佢, 之後至講默字.  如果係讀默, 可以陪佢睇多啲課外書, 等佢識多啲字, 建立自信, 之後會冇咁抗拒(我囡舊年小一嗰陣初初好抗拒英文, 默書18分.  我就係同佢睇書, 串字, 今年第一次英默, 佢作病都有85分).

佢幼稚園有冇試過黙書先,如果冇,佢都要一個適應期...!阿女幼稚園都有比佢地練習黙書,所以佢上左小學,都好易上手...初期K3真係好勞氣,因為佢地未掌握到技巧...但係你比多少少時間佢地適應LAW...!
如果幼稚園有黙過書,E+佢有咁表現,會唔會係太深同多呀?咁你分開幾日,每日温少少,唔好一次過温哂,最好由易嘅字開始...等佢易有成功感!最後再一次過温一次,唔熟果D再重點温...!
如果如果佢本身冇特別問題,就算成積出來唔太好,你要包容下先,過多一段時間會有改善的!

續少續少溫. 每日溫些少, 看小朋友是否易上手些???中文-試吓上電腦/同佢查字典搵吓字詞群組, 令佢覺得有趣些.
可以先解釋中國字的部首不外是: 水, 火, 木, 手, 心, 土.....
每個字都有佢獨有文化!!!
英文- 不外是拼音

1. 部首識字
拉  拍  捉  拿  拾  推: 呢d全部係用手做的動作
跑  跑  踏  踢  跌  跛: 呢d全部係同足有關的字
......

2. 部件識字
瞧 - 用眼睛看, 同目有關
聽 - 用耳仔聽, 同耳有關, 要打醒十四分精神聽, 要一條心聽
蹦 - 蹦蹦跳跳, 同腳(足)有關
喊 - 用口大叫, 同口有關

3.形聲字識字
以下字的聲符全部係 "包"
跑 - 用腳(足)就係跑
飽  - 食飽
抱  - 用手抱
泡  - 泡沫有水
鮑  - 鮑魚係海鮮類, 同魚有關
苞 - 花苞係花草類, 有草花頭

4. 換一換方法
樹人人都識 >> 將 "木"換為廚房廚字的部首(打唔到部首)就係"廚"字
學 >>> 將下面的"子"換為 "見"就係覺

5. 死記 (不正統的方法)
攀 >>> 木 +乂+ 乂+ 木+ 大+ 手
樣 >>> 木 + 羊(無尾巴的) + 永

好多中文字都冇規則, 要見招拆招, 見字拆字咁記.

只有做媽媽的能放開懷抱,同小朋友講,只要有温習,默書時真的拿到不合格,也不會怪他的。然後答應跟他找一個可以幫他的方法。我相信這樣才可令他減去部份心理負擔。再用其他比較活動的方法試一下。如叫佢幫個中文字設計一下顏色等等。

See which type of kids, flexible ways to teach, based on your observation of kids' needs and ability, variations among kids. Kids have difficulties on recognizing chinese characters or memorizing them due to many reasons:

1) probably due to loss of interest when facing too many difficult words, psychologically give up.

2) probably due to learning variations, slower and more diffiuclt to write and to read, cognitive issues..

3) probably due to adjustment issues in P1, need a little bit allowance and patience...

4) some kids may have short-term memories only, you do it two days ago, they will forget all today...

5) some kids may have very good memories, just read and prepare the dictations for 10-30 mintues before the day, it's fine and ok, get the 100 straight forward marks~~

For type 1 kid- need to find some ways to help your little one to separate the knowledge into parts, do it everyday with a little part, build up a learning habit, to read, to write and to tell every day..give them a bit of sense of success and a sense of feeling good about themselves to go on, if still not working, then probably go to see if they have slower learning for Type 2..

For Type 2 kid - get to discuss with teachers, get some assessment done at least you know what's happening to them, concentration issue? read and write difficulties, or the mismatch of school and your kid, e.g. the school is targeting at high calibr.. kids, high IQ, gifted ones, etcetc...
if the school is willing to collaborate with you, go to see if there is any accommodations for dictations for your kid, read slower by teachers, contents involve less in dictations according to their abilities etc.. find a good school, know how to accommodate the learning needs, that's very important!!

For type 3- adjustment - will be ok after 1 or 2 months once they are getting to the rountines , no worry!!

For type 4 - do it every day, then 1 hour before school, go to do the revision again, don't expect they will remember after the dictations, go again next time. Mums and dads, don't get frustrated, just go with the needs. I have a friend going through public exam with this type of learing, he succeed to have university education and is now teaching at the university!! Hope is there!!

For type 5 - no worries, go for themselves and push them for more, expect them more for difficult extra words!!


Don't give up, find out who the kid is and targeting the learning pattern!! teach them problem solving skills in dictations, they will be fine!!

what i am doing now:

1) Read the chapter every day, write the simple words every day, and more diffiult words after few days when they know about the meanings of the chapter, through pictures and storeis, to make sure they understand the meanings of the whole chapters and enjoy the stories..

2) Before dictation, night - write two times, the morning before school - another time..

3) once every few weeks, check with her on the previously learned words, of course will forget, then go over again..

4) build up the confidence and competence (skills) and habits is more important!!

默書系暴露一個人既記憶力,如果記性好就算幼稚園冇默過書都會好快上手,唯有默多幾次啦

一開始我會同佢默課文一次先,知佢有咩字係唔識,就要佢寫多幾次。
之後再同佢默多次,如再有錯字的話,就協
助佢將屢次錯既字形象化咗佢,等佢易記啲。
例如:
「哭」字,就好似有個人「mark」 大個口大聲喊,咁個小朋友就會聯想到「口」同「大」字,仲有滴眼淚「丶」滴緊出黎!

咁樣形象化比較易助記憶。

我的囝囝(小一生),今個星期一啱啱要進行「一生人的第一次 English Quiz」。
我喺星期六叫他溫習。
他認真的回答我:「點溫呀?」
我的內心笑了出來。

In my whole primary school years, I have never done any dictation in my life as I was not having my primary school study here, the times spent for readings, play, or sometimes some phonic readings only, that have not affected my writing or readings today..

It's ok and it's fine to attend a school with few dictations or radically no dictations. These are schools with guts to challenge some "authorities in learning""!!

I have my secondary school years in HK and one of my classmates who was a very hard working girl. She almost eaten (memorized) the words in the Oxford english dictationary. Her hardworking was impressive to all students and english teacher (one in a quite traditional girl's school), you know what, my classmate could not even get a credit in her english public examination. That's a shock to us and the english teacher.

I did realize why now...

Because she was trained up as a machine by her mum, without flexibility. Only familiar with the familar things around her, familiar ways of learning , i.e. eating all information in her brain. She was so anxious to face things unprepared and unfamiliar - which is a fact of public exam and the real life we may encounter. Machine is a machine, only mechanical, it can be 100% right, but it will be out of order - you know, a disaster.

She was thinking eating all words means "smart", all her focus was on "how many books I read, how many words I know", her ways of learning and her attitude limited her!!

You know what, it does not work if you only eat information, you need to process the information, to be critical of the information you learned, to be critical of the ways on your teachers' teaching methods. You are not up to the dictation standard, it may not be parents' fault or the child's laziness, it's probably about the fact that you have a "really stupid teacher" or "stupid school system", "stupid or arrogan management team" or probably "stupid educational system"..

我唸分批同佢默,少少少少默,每次默新加舊,跟住最後一次過默晒。有時,系車呀,行街時又問下佢,call番佢的記憶,這是我少少的經驗,一次過默就會嚇親佢。未習慣,習慣了自己識溫,慢慢來。
