Hi, I have questions regarding the application of K1 (2012-2013) on St. Clare's Kindergarten:
1. For submission, do I need to arrive very early, like 7:00a.m.?

2. The chance for getting an offer on providing a HK residential address is better than providing a KLN residential address?
3. Did most of the girls/boys they got offer are Catholic?
4. What the topics will cover during interview?
5. Which kind of kids they like the most on giving them the offer?

Hope any Mama currently had kids studying in St. Clare's Kindergarten can share with me.

They only accept girls! And catholic is not a must.

Girls wait with parents in their hall , then go to classroom wait and play with teacher. Just simple questions !

3. Did most of the girls/boys they got offer are Catholic?-----> only girls and catholic isn't a advantage, very fair in this school

4. What the topics will cover during interview?----> simple questions through play toys with kids

5. Which kind of kids they like the most on giving them the offer?-----> i think they like a polite and punctual girlss

St Clare got only 2 AM class and 2 PM class. So competition is very keen. The PM class should be 1:15pm to 4:15pm.

去年:

都係Ｄ簡單問題，姓名, 幾多歲。
之後有玩具/故事書, 就個女有興趣的再同小朋友傾下~

另外, 有問我邊個照顧個女等。

仲有我覺得老師著重禮貌, 我女有講早晨&再見老師; 仲自己推椅子。
我見同一課室, 另一個面試的女孩冇推椅子, 個老師有提佢。

PS# 老師好nice, 剛好係我女依家個班主任~

apart from answering simple questions, my daughter was also asked to perform tasks such as completing the puzzles, idetifying colors, etc in last year's interview. But it's again pretty simple. so no worry!

yes, the teachers encouraged such a habit from day one. i observed this from the first two days my daughter attended K1.

我覺得老師問嘅問題同 task都唔難, 一般小朋友都做到, 但老師喜歡有禮貌嘅小朋友!

記得去年，St.Clare's亦係我首選，我亦係pm waiting。好幸運最後都入到！感覺學校真係好好，老師好nice好疼小朋友，我囡話班主任好似媽媽咁，咁疼佢喎！校長超級好，睇得出真的有心攪好學校，無論問她什麼問題，都用心回答我呢個長氣媽媽！
準學妹！用心寫下求位書，中文、英文都無所謂，校長會知㗎啦！

校車喺有學校外的路口停, 之後學生行上去, 會有老師/校車姨姨/嬸嬸拖佢地架~

書包會袋定雨衣; 如果落雨, 校車姨姨/老師會幫學生著~

我去年都有擔心呢個問題; 但開學之後都落過好幾次雨,沒問題啊^^

Tksssssss so much to share. But one concern is if big raining happen (not red/black signal host), even 校車姨姨help them to wear the raincoat, once they take off at school, the raincoat so wet and how to put into the school bag?

我女有講話"掛一陣"; 我唔知係唔係會同佢地掛起等干~

學校有叫用膠袋裝雨衣, 咪唔會整濕書包~

另外, 如果有需要, 仲可以著水靴~

Hello mykate, tks for sharing. Hope u don't mind I asked many questions. Thus my daughters only 3yrs old and she may not quite presentable and not willing to tell mama what happen. Even now, I asked her what's happening in the kinder (she is now PN) She cannot tell me much. I little worry once if she slippery on the floor when going back to school or get cold if without wear raincoat! If she almost 4 or 5 yrs old, I would not worry because she can talk many things.
