我想問各位, 香港培正小學英文科係 Native English Teacher 教? 另外除了英文科, 有幾多科係真正用英語教, 即係唔係粵語教學但英文教材? 謝謝回答!

日日有英文堂, 但得一堂係net教, 其餘都你中國人老師教, 不過是全英上堂的

我意思是艾其餘的英文堂是全英上堂, 至於其他科目, 當然係中文上課啦, 培正是中文小學來的

英文科不是用英文書教的，是一張張的（不太清楚是否老師作的工作紙），我認為幾深

他們除了不用英文教科書和用校本工作紙外, 還會用故事書作教材.

如以他們剛看完的故事書為例 (小一) 有以下生字:

形容詞: bumpy, sticky, lumpy, grumpy, rough, smooth, soft, hard, ...
object : marbles, lollipop, bike, truck, stone, worm, ....

My son is at the P6 and I have spent quite some time for his English curriculum. The school adopted a teaching system called big book and they are trained to learn the language through stories and project style worksheets. No traditional grammer book but instead they put emphasis on the common usages with adequate practices. Seems workable for my kid as I ask him to work on the outsource materials(exercise booklets and exam paper from other english school like st Joseph) from time to time n he could always manage that without too much problems.
Besides English, maths and Chinese are the strongest subjects for PCPS compare to most of the local schools
