有無人小朋友係讀緊Fannyee Workshop?
好似好難報, 好多人waiting 緊, 真係好?
係咪可以拎KG form?
咁佢d學生入到名幼稚園率係咪好高?

之前有一個post都講緊, 話佢d老師教得唔好.
而且參觀學校要收費........ 你睇下搵唔搵得到出黎 !?!
不過我聽過佢親自主講的一個講座, 簡直驚為天人, 佢話教小朋友發24個英文字母的音.

if you can spend time doing research in BK, you get far more info here than what she could tell you. seldom get a chance to talk to her, thus i think joining the playgroup is not worth it..

我去了聽講座, 見好多家長都好似好buy 佢咁, 又講到d playgroup 位好緊張.
但我都有回家想想, 佢講到全香港的幼稚園只有九龍塘的幼稚園可取. 又成日叫人上併音班.
我都有諗, 佢淨攪講座都夠賺啦. 每場都有百幾人. 但聽到佢可以拎form 都有d心動. 今年st. cath 的form 好似唔難拎, 唔知KV點呢.

We have joined Fannyee workshop for just over a mth now.

to be frank, i think is not good for kids, but she proivdes a lot of info for the parents to prepare interviews, she always mentions things we are not aware.

e.g., interviewer looked at kid's walking ( see if they walk good) and there is a way to look at...
e.g. what to answer if interviewer as parents certain qs.
e.g. how to train up your kid at home in certain easy games and toys.
e.g. what are the standard qs to be asked from school in interview, if kids canot answer, what parent can do and say to give school the best impression.
e.g. what to wear to interview - for kids and parents

at last but not least, she helps to get almost all FAMOUS kindergarten application forms, so parents no need to worry missing a deadline or cannot get them in a certain time like HKPS.

Fanny emphasis her workshops is for parents rather then kids, she wants the parent to learn and then when we go home, we can teach the kids.

if you ask me if i buy her, i tell u NO. but then she helped me save lots of time as i am a working mom and we dono a lot abt sch in HK as both my hubby and I grow up in north america.

fanny also said a lot of time kindergarten interview is not about the kids ( not all the time), is mainly to see the parents.... so how the parent reacts is very important.

she gives you a lot of sanerio what happen while in interview and tells u what you need to do.

although there is no guarantee that all her students 100% enter 1st choice kindergarten, but at least you get a high chance becoz you are well prepare.

我有聽過佢的talk，新手...聽聽無妨﹗
playgroup我都有上，唔覺佢特別好﹗相信好的playgroup有好多﹗
佢幫你拎form、交form......呢D野都係親力親為好﹗呢個世界無free lunch，自己努力過，得唔得都無得怨人﹗衰係其他因素上，你鬧人都無用﹗
Fanny佢本人可以俾幾多時間係問？你不如花D時間係上BK搵資料，問吓D有經驗的人好過﹗
佢幫你入到名校？如果係名校，需唔需要搵人幫手收生？

我上年11月上完簡介會, 一堂playgroup及家長發音班, 我便被嚇怕了~ 因為太hard sell, 而且我今年1月要帶阿仔去美國玩, 所以最後都冇上佢哋playgroup, 因為好似太貴, 3個月12課要$3000, 即$250一堂, 以前佢收12課只是$2000(我朋友個女2010年3月上到12月), 多一年加多$1000.....

所以我寧願上外面其他面試班, 希望阿仔面試有進步!

我4月會去循道衛理上k1面試班3個月, 不過可能都係以教小朋友點面試為主, 依家坊間都有面試班有兩至三堂係train父母點答問題, 因為好似話幼稚園面試模式唔同咗, 佢哋想知道父母平日點同小朋友相處及教育, 有冇時間同小朋友一齊, 我之後都會繼續上面試班直到幼稚園面試完畢~ 唔係點解依家連PN都有問卷要填....!!!.

我之前亦上過她的playgroup. 回頭想想, 我認為只聽她第一個有關於認識各幼兒園及幼稚園的講座已足夠.

我去個去個TALK. 因為怕咩都唔知. 會唔會因此巳做得唔好...
學完一季. 無料到.
第二季. 佢會係第一季揾D 新野出黎. 如去邊間學校. 如果唔報第二季就無得去.

早前想報名去聴佢地既講座，sent佐幾次信息，唔見人地回復，所以沒去到。人地大把人buy ，唔憂做。

上年無經驗，慢慢interview 多了，發現佢sell d教材如puzzle 同出面interview 的都唔係一模一樣，差不多的周圍有得買，不用比佢講到名幼用同一樣的，我上年最後冇參加他的playgroup

her talk is just like those infomercials you see on TV in the states.

Going to her talk is giving her a chance to sell you her playgroup classes, but as a token of appreciation of sparing your time, she gives you hints on things parents may find useful for interviews.

Dont waste time beyond going to the free talk is my advice to you.
