有冇人訂過?小朋友啱睇嗎?會唔會太深?請分享...

It is a good series and is generally suitable for P.2 students (may be a bit challenging if the kid has not started reading chapter books). Each book has three sections - a story, a non-friction stuff like an experiment and a comic. Very colourful but it is too expensive if ordered in HK. There are some other choices, e.g. the Oxford reading tree/ tree tops.

真係好視乎小朋友的基礎，我小朋友幼稚園時己在讀adventure box，story box及discovery box.　無論如何，呢套書係好適合小朋友睇的。

I never see it in hk bookstore. I have about 20 books. They are handed down to my son from his cousin. I know she got them online. They are too expensive if ordered in hk.

I ever bought story box for my daughter last year, its around HKD3xx for 10 books together with CD. I bought it through order form which is attached inside the book. My dau is P1 now, she like the story and always like to repeat to listern the CD

I know the price had increased to $475 now, you know that is 10 issues a year, but I only got 8 books last year as Jul/Aug and Dec/Jan are combined issues. Sometimes they will forgot to attach the CD also. You can call them to re-send it again.

Just found it available in British Council's bookstore. The price is HK$60 each.

If your intention is not to pick individual issue, annual subscription is still more economic.

Actually, Bayard has some booking forms for school subscription which will offer more discounts than online subscription. Maybe you can try to enquire from them by phone or through your kid's school.

For Adventure Box, the call no. is 500 ADV 2011 for those issues in year 2011.

For Story Box, the call no. is 820 STO 2011 for those issues in year 2011.

They are in the Children's periodicals corner inside public library. For the latest three issues, all public libraries would not lend them out so you can only read there. For older issues, they can be borrowed except from Central Library.

I am afraid HKPL do not carry the CDs for Adventure Box and Story Box.

For any book that comes with CD, they will put a sticker on the book's cover highlighting CD(s) are available to be borrowed together as a set. For the Story Box I borrowed for my child early this week, I did not see such cover sticker.

Besides, the Public Library's online catalogue entries for Story Box and Adventure do not indicate CD. Anyway, I will ask the library staff when I went again and suggest them to carry the CDs.
