返咗學幾日,你地小朋友點呀?我個仔就好似謝哂咁,每日6:15AM起身,雖然而家食完飯就放學,但放學返到屋企好似無哂精神咁,佢係自己帶飯o既,我發覺佢d飯,只係食咗幾啖,好似無哂胃口咁...
你地小朋友d幾日情況點呀?我真係有d擔心下個星期開始要返全日佢會點?而家佢已經9:00pm瞓覺la,唔通仲要早d?

hello edvy, my girl is also at 一信. she brought lunch box and finished most of it for the past 2 days. she said she fell asleep for a while in the bus on the way home. she got up at 605am and hence sleep at 9pm. perhaps she slept a while on the bus, she did not feel very tired when back home.
i received the dictation list for chinese, english and bible these few days which gave me some pressure indeed.

My girl also study class 1F. Yes indeed the dictation list gave me at one time really give us some pressure. My girl these few days still adapting to the primary school life...having lunch on your own without Maid. Doing homework after school...lesser playing than kindergarten.
Still she's happy. As i want to know more about her school life, i ask her to draw the picture about her class,her recess time, her lunch box.

My son also in 1F. It is difficult to wake him up as he has to wake up at 6:00 a.m.. Today, he even lost his temper when I told him to wake up. Just a few days to school, really worried.
The dictation list also gives me pressure as my son is not good at spelling and writing.
We all add oil.

hello Ronnie 1213, my son told me that just a few classmates brought lunch box by themselves, he actually want to try out the lunch provided by school. However, my 99 & husband also want him to eat healthier, so they insist that my son has to bring lunch box. Your daughter is doing very well, can you tell me the name of your daughter, let see if my son know who she is.
The dictation list really scare me when I saw that the first dictation will come the end of this month. We all really have to add oil.
Hope we can share more in the future in order to get support and comfort as not only the kids, but we're all facing new challenge.

My son also has the same problem, sometimes I'm very frustrated when I feel him lack of motion to go to school, but he said he like to go to school as Ms Kan is really a nice teacher.
I think the teachers of KRS are full of love and patience to teach students, hope all of kids could enjoy their new school life.

It's a good idea to post the homework list here as it could remind others the missing items.
I also remember Ms Kan said that only 1 day for each form to go to the playground for recess, but my son also said he went to the playground for the past 2 days. Strange??
He also request me to give him pocket money to buy snack during recess time, but I only promise him I will discuss with daddy and maybe will give him once a week after 1-2 months. I don't want him eat too much snack in school and don't understand the meaning of money.
Very happy to know you here, I am a full-time mom (actually I got a part-time job at home), I also have another little boy in K1, so I'll be more free in the morning.

He said he's just alone in the playground during recess since he has not yet made any friends in these few days, just knowing a few names of his classmates.

It is a good idea to post the homework list here. My son shows enjoy to the school life. For the handbook, he seems not quite understand what he wrote. So when I ask him the details, he looks like dreaming.
I am so surprised that they have a reciting dictation in Chinese subject. For my son, he doesn't try any dictation and test in kindergarten. So I think it is quite difficult for him.
I also wonder whether we can PM the phone no., so that we can communication much easier. If you find OK, please let me know, I can PM my phone no. to you.

阿囝今個星期一同今日係學校做功課時段,好似無做過嘢咁,因為佢專揀d佢最晤識o既中文閱讀理解嚟做,用好多時間之餘,又做錯哂,返到屋企又要再做過,我問佢唔識有無問MS KAN, 佢話MS KAN叫佢地自己諗吓,無教佢喎!返到屋企,今日用咗個幾鐘去完成所有功課,實在慢咗D,我諗緊有d mud嘢方法去幫助佢地中文的理解呢?

My son didn't have this item, but he took the "長河小學語文精練" home, I asked him whether he should do this, he said no, he just did the exercise on P.12 at school. I doubt whether he should finish P.13 as well???

My son wrote that 中文科補充P.23. I think it is impossible. P.12 & 13 may be right but cannot find in the web-site.
I also got the same feeling that this school is not quite easy. Only one-week posting of the homework in the web-site is diffcult for the kids to handle. Of course, also the partents. I think it is necessary to post the homework in bk in Oct 11 & afterwards.

My son wrote, P12, P6, so I think should be P. 12 and 13. Maybe Ms. KAN forgot to mark this on the homework list in school website. I asked my son, he didn't know how many homwork to do.
I think we better have to list the homework everyday ourselves after we cannot check it through the website.
I also have to spend a lot of time to check my son's homework and to teach him how to do it. As I am a working mum, it seemed that I have no time to play with my son, but just do the homework with him, so pity.

d小朋友根本無意識溫書,係大人緊張過佢地,如果你唔捉佢,佢係唔會自動自覺去拎本書出嚟讀,而家默書都係咁,第日測驗考試,範圍咁大,點算呢?

i hv enrolled for parents' meeting. we are meet and chat face to face then. for comments, i said 1) the reciting dictation is difficult for the kids and can we re-schedule to oct.. hehe 2) previously we were told P1 students can only go to playground/snack shop on D1. but my girl told me the classmates went downstairs everyday and a few of them bought snacks everyday. want to clarify this...

阿囝因上堂前在課室跑,被miss kan扣咗佢兩個圓點,即係本來貼咗落張紙度都met番出嚟,佢好唔開心...
我覺得都係一個好o既經歷,等佢以後有所警惕,我就安慰佢,以後見到同學跑,自己唔好跟住跑,以後乖d,留心上堂,第日攞番多d圓點law...

我地1C班都有小朋友在課室跑,被老師罰.
另外,阿仔都有提過老師試過收返犯規同學的圓點.
雖然小朋友會好唔開心,但我也贊成'賞罰分明',小朋友清楚明白了犯規的後果,日後也學懂如何避免.也許這也是禮賢的學生給人守規有禮的原因吧.
而且,圓點是可以再努力爭取的,各位小朋友加油!

good idea ar... we are so alike in family structure, hehe.. also we can meet and talk in coming parent's meeting on oct 7.
in fact, we can organize an activity in x'mas holiday or public holiday. there is a good place for us to consider. it is suitable for P1 or K1 kids. the ticket is just HK$5 for child and HK$10 for adult.... it is 5-8 mins walk from Che Keung Temple MTR station.

I have checked the school calender. It seems that there is a day on 24/10 which they don't need to go to school. How about we have a gathering/ activities on that day so that the kids can play together and we can meet each other?!
And, my daughter is chosen to take part in the writing compeition. I wonder is that all students in P.1F have to join the competition? Actually, my girl's handwriting is not so nice. I really have doubt on it!

yeah! my girl is 楊懿婷 ar! she told me she went to the library with a few classmates but did not mention who they were. it seems they called each others' chinese names rather than English names or class nos.
i am so happy that she went to library rather than the snack corner. in fact she keep telling me what others bought from the snack corner everyday and asked me when she can hv some money! My son still always ask me to give him pocket money to buy snack in school, he said a lot of his classmates bought snack during recess, but I have not yet given him. I ask him to eat more during lunch time, if he's doing good, I will consider to give him pocket money. So far, he is really improving.

Really good idea, I also mark leave on that day then.
My son also asked me for pocket money. I said I will give him when he promoted P.2. Have your child studied for the Chinese dictation. The night before, I asked my son to try to dictate the Chinese words, he remembered a lot. However, last night, when I asked him to dictate the Chinese words again, he forgot most of them. Then, he even cried and said he forgot all and didn't want to dictate the words. So pity, I have to comfort and encourage him and told him to write more.
Can't image in the coming English dictation as my son is weak in English.

今日中文默書派咗返嚟la,他都做得唔錯,我個囝話全班32個同學,有29個小朋友都有100分,個個小朋友都好比心機溫書,真係乖
不過係趣味默寫果part,阿囝個中文底真係唔係幾好,錯到出彩,好在唔計分,如果唔係多多分都唔夠扣!改正都改到傻!!

1) chinese homework worksheet (5) was the one done yesterday. it was marked by teacher and was given for correction today. the 2-page worksheet were stapled together.
2) 作 (簽改) is a 1-page worksheet done in school. if u cannot find it, ask Lucas to tell Mrs Wong. it may be mixed up with the page of another classmate when distributing it. it happened to Sophia last nite (cannot find a worksheet for correction). the classmate gave it back to her today and it was not marked as missing homework in the Handbook.
