Dear SIS parents:

My daughter will take the entrance exam next month. She is in P4 now and we'd like to transfer to SIS early next year if she get accepted.

Can you tell me what's the content the entry exam and the interview? Is it very hard to get accepted?

We are in beijing now so madarian is not a problem. But English might not be good enough and our math is taught in Chinese.

Could you please share some information about how we should prepare for the exam?

Any advices are highly appreciated!

you can call SIS admission office to enquire the entrance exam requirement. Or you can buy P4 assessment books from the SIS bookshop for reference.

You can download some primary school exam papers at the following website for practice. Chinese should not be a problem for your kid. There are many students from the mainlands studying in SIS in recent years. Some of the students perform very well.

You can search at SIS website for useful resources of different subjects.

It's so nice of you to give me so many information! They are very useful!

We just bought the assessment papers and textbooks from SIS bookstore.

I will download the papers from the website and let my daughter to have a try.

Dear Mornington: SIS bookstore should be open for everyone. My husband just went there and bought the books.

I think the books are just the same as used in Singapore primary school.
