my daughter's going to join SIS PY1 program.
any other parents, with your kids also going to SIS PY1? let's gether around online to intercommunicate. Also those with kids from PY2 or even primary, if it's not bothering for you, please also leave me your contact info., I believe we need good advices.

I simply love the speech/sharing of Principal Madam Mak today.
The vision of SIS is exactly identical to mine-
- global vision
- keeping abreast with fast-changing internet world
- buidling up strong bilingual foundation
- discipline
- art...
Also happy to know the public exam results of SIS's student are so exceptionally outstanding!

Yes, they did very well in Maths and Physics, this is from the school website:
We received the IGCSE results of our pioneer batch of secondary students on 11 August 2011 and they have done well. All of our students achieved Grade C or better (Grade A*, A, B or C) in at least 5 of their subjects with 12 students attaining 5 or more passes at A* grade. Almost all our subjects had 100% passes (Grade C or above) with three subjects, namely, Mandarin Chinese, Music and Physics having 100% of the students obtaining A* grade. 28 of our Secondary 3 students also sat for their IGCSE Mathematics examinations one year ahead of their cohort with 24 students obtaining an A* grade and 4 students with an A grade.

Additional information : total no. of pioneer batch of secondary students = 32.

FYI...SIS第一屆IGCSE(S4)的成績:
Percentage of Credits (Grade C or Above): 99%

Total Number of Distinctions (A/A* grades) across all 15 subjects offered by SIS: (65%)

28 Secondary 3 students took IGCSE Mathematics: 24 A* and 4A

They did very well in Math, but I don't really like their teachers since some of them are from Singapore and they may speak in quite a heavy Singaporean accent
