Try not putting photos/family photos in the portfolio...I saw 1 teacher asking the parents to take out those pages with photos only from the portfolio. My friend had the same experience too. To my understanding, they just accept certificates, school reports, EAC listing/certifcates etc.
Cover letter is not counted.

Last year I did have a page with photos of competition awards. The teacher asked me to take it out originally. Yet, as I'd also included photo captions under these photos (e.g. competition name, date, award title etc.), I explained to the teacher that those were not merely photo exhibition but information on the competitions that my son had participated. She let me keep that page finally.
Nevertheless, this may be an individual case and don't try to use this as an argument point with school.

According to last year's requirement, double-sided printing is allowed and you can reduce the size of the certs as long as they are readable.

本身已經整左份（有相片的），睇完以上前輩的經驗，今朝再整多份無相的後備，最後咪又係浪費紙張！其實如果真係唔收有相片，學校可以講明唔收。

Art works: I don't have such experience. I'll suggest you to relate the art works to the extra-curricular activities or competition entered instead of just stand out like an exhibition of art works.

我反而覺得佢地可以說明唔收相片,可能我呢d窮等人家, 參加既課外活動都係康文署,明愛d course,真係唔會發一張証明書比小朋友,我既証明只係影下上課情況,如果相片唔係一種proof, 其實我個小朋友係無野比佢睇

Don't be so frustrated! The comments I made are just based on last year experiences which may not happen this year. Sometimes when I was puzzled with the portfolio requirements and the school didn't state them clearly, I would also prepare different sets of portfolio just in case.

想補充下，紙張要求及不釘裝寫得好清楚，呢個要讚，好過我交到黎唔收，亦好明白佢既用意。只係proof呢part有灰色地帶！

唔好意思未寫完，其實5項中我覺得只有第4項有頁數限制，我當年5頁底面印有信有相有cert全部都收(成績表另計)，見到有家長頁數過多要即場抽走部分，大家小心準備，祝好運。

I understand. I asked this question because when I called them to clarify last week, they said that the 5 pages INCLUDE school report. I told them doesn't that 5 pages mean only ECA as stated in the requirement , but the person over the phone clearly told me that 5 pages INCLUDE EVERYTHING including cover letter, school reports, any supporting document, which surprises me.
That is why i am asking here if parents submitted the form today, if the 5 pages include school report or not?
Can anyone who submitted today please clarify?
