About the order of the strokes, actually is there an "official version" (eg which Chinese dictionary is the most accurate/reliable) out there?

I also doubt if there is any authority governing the stroke order. Copied below is a relevant thread I posted earlier:

Regarding the order of stroke, I find that the Taiwanese and local (HK) versions are different for some of the Chinese characters such as 我，齊，樂，變 etc.
