Dear parents can you pls tell me how it's different from Jolly phonics or letterhand phonics? Do we need to take extra classes outside to supplement? Pls advise. Thanks!

Hi,
All phonics are more or less the same to me.
If I may speak of Playtime Phonics taught at gov. schools - too little time (each "class") and too little can be covered. With that said, it may be the gov. prescribed speed suitable for 3-6 olds.
If you wish to go faster, you could consider taking extra/more intensive outside of school.

Thank you cooking-mama. I'll see how the kids do in their first term before considering outside help.
