If I have got P.1 自行分配學位 and then later on gets an offer from DSS, do I have to tell EDB and cancel the 自行分配學位? I assume that I can't join 統一派位 any more.

you dont need to tell EDB that you got an offer. When you accept it, the school will notify EDB.
