it depends whether you have the time to check the homework & how self-motivate your child is. I know many working moms put their child to 補習, the purpose is someone to take care of the child as well as finishing off homework. For me I still have a younger one, thus I don't have time to check two homeworks besides I don't want to "hurt" our relationship....remember mom is normally the one who cares more about a child's education & "marks"...thus always yelling to children to get "things" done. So now that I pays 補習 to get the job done loa.

I think it's difficult, mine no self-motivation. i always busy and back late.

My daughter has been going to 海天 (Sat only) since second term of P2 for 2 years. Taken summer course, since Sept, my girl goes 5 days/week for 2 hours, so far so good, have not hear of what sophielau's comments & problems. As I mentioned before I need someone to care for her homework as there is another P1. there were sufficient pass paper, as long as there is still students going there (besides SFCS, I saw Wah Yan, SJS, Henessary) honesly pass paper is not that important as I take it as another "revision exercise" besides, teaching materials change every year.

tutors there make up "quiz", "exercises" etc for my girl to do, thus there are more works for tutor

it depends whether your girl catches up with the school work, whether you have time & patient to follow up with her school work....
