想請教各位前輩媽咪, 我地兩公婆同女女溝通多數用英文, 但係想同女女報 local 幼稚園, 想請問 local 幼稚園 k1 interview應該大多用中文吧? 咁我女女唔多識聽, 老師/我 translate 可以嗎, 會唔會因此而"扣分" 呢?

幾時in 呀, 可以同佢講多d 廣東話啦, 雖然而家好多小朋友都係聽英文叻過中文, 但你會幫佢報主流課程的話, 都要開始train 返d 廣東話 & 中文喇.

我個囝上年interview時都係用英文答, 除咗kv有問題, 其餘都無咩問題.

最好做下research睇睇你心儀的kg可否用英語,上年見過有間同一個家長講"你5識中文咁來做乜",雖然這可能係個別事件,如target local kg 同小學,中文好一定會有帮助.

報 2012-2013 K1, 工人係賓賓, 為有靠自己加把勁....

SC - you can select english or cantonese.  so we chose english.  BTW, just a reminder.  if you want to apply E/P class, have to prepare another Mandarin interview section.  that mean, one part is english or cantonese, antoher part is mandarin.

LH - I didn't mention that we need to use english for interview when sending the application form.  but on the interview date, I told the teacher that my son was better in english, then the teacher ask another NET to interview us.

Victoria - there were 3 teachers in the interview, one english, one cantonese, one mandarin.  my son was reponse badly for cantonese but good for english and mandarin.

York - interviewed by english speaking teacher.

靈糧堂 - teacher asked in cantonese, i translated and my son replied in english

KV - there were two teachers.  i didn't tell them we need to use english, so both of them asked in cantonese.  one teacher spoke to me and one interviewed my son, so i totally can't help my son to translate.

KV無咁串, 不過都對我講 "你有無打算教個仔講好d廣東話!!"

我囡囡所有KG都係英文in, 包括KV.
KV結果係waiting. 如果KV咁不喜歡英文in就直接reject我囡囡啦. 所以不用担心.
我冇寫求位信去KV, 反而心儀個間寫咗3封, 結果收咗.
P.S. 心儀個間老師見我囡囡講英文, 就轉另外一位NET老師in. 我最記得in完NET老師送架直升機比我囡囡, 我囡囡話 "wow, what's this? Helicopter!" 所以我很喜歡這KG, 很warm!

can you share with us which KG is this?

係就係過份o左 d,不過如果從老師的角度去看,kg是間local中文學校,個老師本身未必係教英文,咁如果家長強烈要求要英文in,咁家長本身又係咪過份o左lei?

好難講誰是誰非,有興趣可睇返上年skh interview 個thread (希望冇記错)

聽過一個傳聞,某年St Paul Co-ed 小學部開簡介會,會上有家長問校長,佢小朋友英文比中文好,可否用英文面試,校長有些surprise的回答:'我地係中文小學喎,你聽不懂中文怎應付課程?' 聽說而已,不知是否真有其事,不過我覺得考中文學校,要用英文interview, 又真係幾奇怪.

CCKG用全英in, 如果自幼用中文溝通, 上半個學期K1夠唔夠時間比佢學英語?

如果她聽得明廣東話，其實你就不用擔心。還有3-4個月，儘量講多D。小朋友學得很快的。

但如果她根本聽不懂廣東話，為什麼你又要target local 幼稚園？
