小女幸運有機會考插班試, 想知道/英文及常識用哪本教科書? 因為原校英文沒有教科書, 用幼聯教授, 想幫小女惡補, 希望大家幫幫忙...

longman. But don't just read the book for your exam. It's test will have tricky questions to test out the ability of students. If she gets it finally, that proves yours are quite outstanding.

HF is not a school solely for "die reading". It requests you to exercise what's learnt.

HF will test how your girl applies the knowledge. For example, it will show two pictures with numbers, and then, will test both your English and Maths. Your girl must be calm to analyse and answer. Seems to be easy but "die-reading" will have poor results.

it adopts the normal ones currently used in other primary schools. But it has completed the 1A book just 2.5 months after semester begins. Then use 1B. TSA books and many complementary work sheets instead.

I suggest your leaving your girl being relaxed now because she really needs to contribute a lot of time on study on entrance.
