How to improve IS performance?? There are more than half students fail in IS in my daughter's class. She passed but I wonder if she can survive next year!!!

She passed but the result was not good enough although she said it was not bad at all. I only bought a book for her to study. I should have bought it earlier but I bought that in May!!! It basically covered the whole term's curriculum!!!
