小朋友下年升小六, 請問有什麼公開試對升中有用?

已考了 KET 和 GAPSK, 須否考 PET, 還有什麼提議?

呢d試實際作用不大, 只係多張cert禁解, 要考就考PET好過KET.

Is the level of PET very high? And will English Secondary School consider it?

Not very high. What grade is your kid in now? Is the English standard of your school high?

For Secondary schools - Yes, they will consider but do not expect them putting a lot of weight on it.

She will be in P.6. And she got Merit in KET in Summer before P.5.

Is it just a pass enough? Or should it be Merit?

KET is good, but I think it would be better to try for PET also, if you are targeting for good (not only just english) Sec. school.

The next test date will be Nov. Think about it.

最緊要是自已讀好書，其它証書是附屬品，除非是好特出獎行。
