我朋友對仔女都讀名校, 我朋友既評語話學校係黑店, 因為唔教書, 等D家長自己搵人教, 所以我想問英華係咪又係教得淺, 老師只係跟書讀, 甚至好多都教唔切, 但就考得深, 等D家長自己搵人教呢?

YW is not the type of school you mentioned. In addition to the text books, there are many worksheets teaching extra items. In my opinion, over 90 and 95% of content in test and exam should have been teached during the classes.

老師會教書, 但教得好快, 如果個細路吸收能力强就OK, 否則家長都係要"從旁協助".

I would like to supplement that teachers in YW not only teach, but arrange revisions in classes. I am so grateful for that as it really shares parents' burden in having revisions before exams.

I am not sure as my son just completed P.1 studies in YWPS. Very often, when I asked him to start revision before I can test him, he replied that his teachers had already let them revise for exams or assessments in classes. Then I started testing him right away, sometimes by asking him orally, sometimes by a mock written test. It showed that he managed to provide right answers for most, if not all questions. That's why I find the school very good as it would not pass the ball to parents and parents alone...

PS My kid will go to P1 in YW this Sep.

唔"谷"但課程有一定的深度。
我認為"谷"是來自家長們而不是學校。

當年小兒選了一本宇宙天體嘅書，老師問他喜歡什麼，小兒説出宇宙大爆炸。

書是小兒favorite但字都唔識多個，但可朗朗上口說出星體。
