Wonder any SPPCS mom recommend Chinese and Math centers that offers good course? Originally, I was thinking of letting her to do exercises and read more in summer, but now I also want to explore any good centers that may have good materials to teach children Chinese and Math.
For Math, I was quite interested in Enopi Math, but it seems it isn't useful to put her to Eng Math unless when she is in upper primary which will then help her to get adaptive to Eng secondary school. Do you think so? Or is it still helpful?
For Chinese, there's a center called 創世紀學會. Any comments?
Many many thanks

I tried private tutor....So-in, Selin, E-nopi.
finally i quite all except the chinese @ selin, and just starts to learn Enopi for 2 months.
my experience is .......what ever, you gave her, it really depends on your child's talent. I saw a girl @ e-nopid, and she is studying around Grade2's math, but she is only 4 yrs old (and her mom told the teacher that she never willing to do the homework, but she can be quickly to finish all in one day......that's call neutral talent)

but i found that the chinese can be trained by doing more exercises.....but math really depends on the kids....
my princess is not that smart to handle the math

Did you mean you feel fine with So-in, Serlin (except its chinese)?
For Chinese, I believe it just takes time, read more books and do more exercises, eventually it will do. Just that the pace of improving for having the tutorial may not be quick enough to catch up with the school's progress. My girl always found the comprehension part more difficult.
For Math, I don't just believe the talents of children make a whole lots of difference. I believe the way of teaching the concepts and solving problems is crucial to training the kids to do the math arithmatic. To solve a problem, there could be various ways to do so, just as teaching, there are various ways to explain concepts. Once it's clicked, the world is changed.
Anyway, I 'm letting my girl to try So-In. I'm more concerned about how they teach math concepts and how their exercises could strengthen their understanding. Hope it works.
