Is $1,600 for the 1st term of P.1 (?) or for the whole academic year?

In our case, it's nearly $1,000 for the 1st term (totally 2 terms in P.1) (only for books and exercise books).

Readers are not included. Books for some subjects are also excluded, b'cos the school will provide school-based curriculum materials for these subjects.
