Chance for applying St Joe, WY and LS.
Can anyone describe the chance comparison in 自行、統一 and 叩門 stage?

I guess no one would give up their spots at St. Joe, Wah Yan or La Salle .......

Make a wild guess, maybe someone will consider giving it up if there is offer from St. Paul's Co-Edu or DBS primary ?

Your guess is wild indeed. In one of the threads, BK parents also stated that they gave up seats in St Joe and Wah Yan.

Candidates with 20 marks still have to be selected by ballot, so you can imagine how slim the chance is for those who have 15 marks only.

我只係 point out 會有家長為子女選擇 "更好" 的學校, 如果錢又唔係問題, 而又有"更好"的 offer 在手, 如 International School, ESF, St Paul's Co Edu, DBSPD, 即將開的 Harrow School.....etc 相信大部份都會選擇 "更好"的

舉個攪笑的例子:
如果小朋友中央派位被派往 St. Joe 對面的 "東華三院李賜豪", 在李賜豪註策日當天, St. Joe / Wah Yan 校長在李賜豪門口開個 counter 叫李賜豪的男準備生歡迎他們即場註策入讀 St Joe / Wah Yan......而且 no obligation, 我諗很多家長都會即場轉校

我諗家長中就算有東華三院總理 OR 望族李賜豪後人都可能會即場轉校 !! 騎騎....

If you have 20 marks...you have chances for all 3...no worries

1. St. Joe - some chance for 20 marks
2. Wah Yan - some chance for 20 marks
3, LS - some chance for 20 marks

No one will have those exact data unless you work at the 3 schools or 教育局

In other BK threads, there were parents stated that they got in for the first round with only 20 points. But never heard of someone with 15 points could get into all 3 schools.

My personal experience, I applied St Joe for 20 points but unable to make it in 1st round. I chose a DSS and did not participate in 2nd round.

Yes, I live in Net12, so even I have only 15 marks , I will take it in 自行 first, then take 統一 again . But not sure how many successful rate on 統一 ? And , not sure any seat for 叩門 stage?

Based on an unofficial statistics, there are around 800 kids in net 12 participating the central allocation.

Assume half of them are boys, 400 kids are boys.

Then you can determine the chance by yourself.
