想請教有小朋友在這兒學芭蕾舞的家長, 這間芭蕾舞學院(CWB分校) 的老師好嗎? 課程如何? 小朋友開心嗎??

我正考慮為囡囡選擇兩歲芭蕾舞班......

如要在CWB, 可考慮黃日芝芭蕾舞學校，收費合理 (我記得Grade 4 是$120/lesson 60分鐘, BB班應該會平D, around $100/lesson 左右, 45分鐘)，不會太commercial, 校長親自任教，但她比較嚴謹，會執動作同minor位, 如turn out, 不要'拐腳'等。我個人認為ballet是一項力求完美的藝術，所以嚴少少是少不免的，她會教授正確的站姿、坐姿和如何企穩等，以及怎樣保護雙腳以免受傷。由於BB班不用考試，所以課堂會輕鬆點，到了PP班以後就要考試，要上考試課程同記動作，BB班一星期上一堂，英國皇家規定PP-Grade 4一星期上兩堂, Grade5以後一星期上三堂或以上。
我兩個女兒也在這裡上課，一個學了5年，一個學了9年，她們都好喜歡那裡的教學模式，考試成績也不錯。

以我所知, 有d芭蕾舞學校係學生上咗一定堂數之後, 就要學生出外表演, 又硬性規定要去比賽. 請問係黃日芝芭蕾舞學校有無呢d表演同比賽規定嘅呢? 囡囡比較細膽, 我唔想迫佢去表演!!

以我個女的經驗，表演係有，不過唔係硬性規定一定要去，老師當然會鼓勵小朋友參加，因為參加舞蹈博覽等表演可以有證書，同埋壯大小朋友個膽(其實我見PP班個D小朋友都好enjoy表演而且冇咩錯漏ok既)，增加自信，唔參加都冇所謂。我女次次都話要去表演因為佢話想同個friend一齊。比賽就較少，可能到高級D vocational至有。

結果都係選擇曾雪麗芭蕾舞學院, 因為囡囡唔肯自己一個上堂, 一定要我陪佢先肯上堂

而只有呢間係親子班, 唯有參加呢間喇!!

之前試過鍾詠賢芭蕾舞,都ok嘅; 但因為要小朋友自己上堂, 我囡囡唔肯, 所以無揀到呢間!

其實呢間有免費試堂, 妳可以打去book 呀, 睇下妳囡囡鍾唔鍾意囉!!
至於黄日芝好似無得試堂嘅, 所以唔太清楚

同意, 你地有無留意reception既姐姐呀, 個個星期都唔同人, 有很多新臉孔, 有時佢地有d課程單張,問佢地詳細資料, 個個都唔識答, 不過, d芭蕾舞老師都教得幾好既~

When my daughter first enter 黄日芝, I didn't request for any trail lessons, but she the principle will perform some basic/easy actions (maybe 3-4) and tell the child to follow and do the same, she will evaluate the ability of the child in this process and place her in a suitable grade/class, at last she'll talk to the parent how's your child's performance and what you can do to improve your child's skills, as well as explain what will be happening in class and what you can expect from your child.
But the above evaluation process experience was already 5-6 years ago when my younger daughter first enter this ballet school, I don't know if there are any changes or not, perhaps you can give them a call and ask them to arrange a free trail lesson for you (but there're no parent & child classes).
Sorry I haven't try 鍾詠賢 yet, my two daughters are both having lessons in 黄日芝 for 9 years and 5 years respectively and they didn't complain about anything, so I let them to continue.
Frankly, although 黄日芝 is not really a famous/popular ballet school, the principle herself is really putting much effort in teaching students, she always occur when my daughters are having lessons (as well as other classes), she's not someone who just employ some teachers and she's resting/enjoying a cup of tea in the room. Though she's a bit tough/strict than other schools, all the things she taught to students or scolds them is always with reasons (eg: turn out, straight legs or wrong weight placement etc), instead of making troubles without reasons, I appreciate her teaching attitude.
Honestly, when you first enter the dance room (or waiting outside) and you see/hear she/other teacher is talking very loud (or like roaring) to students, please don't be frightened, this is the way they teach, sometimes talking loud is not equal to evil.

我打左去約了見面,不是試堂的形式,她想了解我的小朋友去到什麼程度,她說可能一個小朋友都會開班,形式好像一對一,但對四歲小朋友來說會否不太好?若果兩、三小朋友一起上堂,她們開心啲。

Sorry for late reply coz we're moving house these few days.
Actually, my girls have had lessons in it for 9 & 5 years respectively and I haven't heard of any cases just having one kid in a class.. In my personal experience, a four year old child can be placed in either BB or Pre-Primary (PP) class.
There're many kids in BB and PP classes (around 10), in examination class (children who take RAD exams, usually all children will take the exam coz they can get a certificate which is validated throughout the world), there're averagely 8-10 kids in each class. You may try and ask ms. wong to place your child in normal class, since BB class is not going to have exams (examinations will start from P (Primary) class, Pre-Primary students will take presentation class only.), I saw some new students entering her school before and all of them were placed in normal classes but not a new class, perhaps you could ask her for more information when you meet her next time.
Individual class will not be a good choice for a four year old child, she may get nervous because she's the only one student in class, and cooperation is one of the elements in ballet, if only one child in class, she can't learn how to cooperate with others, also, in lower grades (BB/PP), teachers like to create some group dance for them (around 10 kids in a dance), this experience is really treasurable, because after BB and PP, children will take exams and they've to practice and work for it, there will be no extra time for them to dance in a group of people, some actions in exams are required to dance in a pair, no more group dance.
In normal class, children can also build up their friendship and tacit understanding, my daughters best friends are all in ballet class but not at school, they know how to tolerate with each other, this is difficult to find in school.
If ms. wong is too stubborn that she didn't place you daughter in normal class (after you've requested), than I suggest you transfer to other schools, you may think to stay unless the class have at least 3-4 children.
Individual class is more suitable for higher grades students, more skills and techniques are required, teachers can observe them in individual class, but such a young child, I don't really suggest indiviual class.

成日話要去芭蕾舞老師到~

但行政就真係唔係好得, 交低手册點名都會唔見

, 落堂要等佢哋10分鐘先至唔知係邊榭搵番出嚟

(但勝在d姐姐態度好好囉)

我都有上過去, 又係話一個小朋友都會開班, 形式一對一, 但我都覺得囡囡同其他小朋友一齊上堂會開心d, 所以無選呢間!

贊成行政超亂，櫃枱姐姐個個星期新面孔﹐但裡面教的老師係超掂。
我個大囡由2歲上到現在PRIMARY，我對佢地又愛又恨，要家長醒目，因為係冇customer service，最終要由校長LILI攪掂。初期我成日投訴校長，行政混亂，有時上堂摸門釘，校長為了安撫我還退款比我，但最終我放棄了。
先講由KB2至KB4的堂，多數由外籍教師教，跳足45MINS，由當初JUDY(去了SINGAPORE)到現在有了龍鳯始的MS CANDANCE(許懷欣的太太)AS AT 現在MS ELENA，都好有水準，小朋友個個都好開心，聽聞現在教開KN1-2的MS JUDY會教KB2呢，但都好有水準。
我大囡直到上現PRIMARY，初時由校長、MS JENNIFER教，大囡好開心，雖現轉了其他老師，但我大囡興趣不減。
細囡現緊KB2，好好好開心，裡面所播的兒歌和坊間一定不同，非常有古典氣派。
價錢係略貴，但仍有不少學生継續，校長成日預備有關芭蕾小禮物送比小朋友(如MOTHER DAY/FATHER DAY)，感覺好有家的感覺。
希望曾對此學校有意見的家長，行政係亂，但至少好靈活，如補堂、病假一定為冇問題，唔會又話一定要病假紙、要多少日前通知少可補假等。大家都知道，現在每個小朋友咁多興趣班，C派制度一定唔WELCOME，同埋老師水準係好高，我BUY質素MORE THAN OTHERS!!

My friends' daughter is having lessons in Melissa Kong, currently in Intermediate level and going to have exam in Sep/Nov, she had got Distinction in the pass exams, I saw she's doing well with her pointe work too.
