如果唔係, 咁將軍澳/港島東,邊間用英文教之餘(想除左中

文, 其他科都用英文教)又會係活動式教學呢??

Clearwater Bay School has very very few Cat 2 students. Even if they have Cat 2 children, they have siblings or belong to other priorities (like mommy or daddy is an ESF staff or alumni).

So... if you are cantonese speaking and new to the area, your chances of getting in is 0. Even their associated kindergarten, Abacus have very very few Cat 2. There are 2 Cat 2 kids in my son's class, and they both have siblings in the ESF system already.

Trust me, its not that bad. My friend's son who has no sibling, is 'definitely' Cat. 2 got admitted into CWBS Year 1 Sept 2011. He is in Abacus K2 now. So I guess keep trying is the key

Agree, my friend's two children are studying there, absolutely no background cat 2. Chinese oral skill better than English oral skill.

I am going to apply abacus k1 2012, if the chance is dim, any other suggestions? one option is to let my son stays at woodland for now, I am really worried.

That is true. Frances, the principal at Abacus told us all that they only have Cat 1 children at Abacus.

Actually that is not true. I know 1 and this is the only 1 I now of so far. He was at woodlands, cat 2 child and got an offer at CWB, but at a very late stage, like May.

Even some of the Cat 1 children in Abacus with no sibling priorities only get waitlisted interviews. They have said in the letter that they are being interviewed but they will be on the waitlist.
