今日有間私小打嚟話收我個仔，明天交錢註冊，但後曰就派位放榜，咁我係味仲可以睇埋結果，多個選擇呢？

if so,can I still go to register the gov't school ?

我覺得間私小有小小衰, 明知星期六放榜都仲要人明天註冊俾錢, 如果星期六真係派到心儀既小學未無端端無o左一仟幾佰蚊:(

就算錢對家長唔係問題都唔係咁洗丫嘛, 幾佰蚊起碼買到對靚鞋或靚書包番學啦, 係未?!

it's st Louis, But i THINK IT'S OKAY, coz i eventually have a back up school,iI was so worry in the past few months and keep doing my son's portfolio til late recently.

Now my problem is ,if I can have a 1st choice from gov't ,can I still register first and then make decision later ?

by the way,any comment on St Louis ?

In case the school allocated to you is satisfactory, remember to inform St Louis to release the place so that the place can be offered to someone in need, relieving his/her parents' anxiety.

Sure I will, I totally understand the feeling of no school on hand,just like a battle without any weapon,I've been worried for so many months and here is a bit relief for me.

I don't know if it's okay to register SL tomorrow and still allow me get the result from govt?

St Louis is a private school, so they can't stop you from registering in a govt/aided school; but they will cancel your place when they know you register in a school allocated in the lucky draw. Such registrations will be sent to private schools by EDB for their reference and action.

Does St Louis only give you one day to register? If it does, it will be a bit mean for them to set it this way so that parents may have to pay the registration fee to secure a place before the lucky draw result is released.

I only feel happy that they called me,just like saving my life,I don't reli mind to pay,while it's a private school and it's all about money sometimes.

maybe "當局者迷啦"

But I think this is a good school,I may even give up my first choice and admit this.

Thomasha,do U have any ideas/comments about this school?

It's because the registration (pay first month
school fee + misc fee) for the students is from May 28 to June 1, that's why they call you
today.

I also paid and wait for the result for Net 12....
Also, i checked my bank account this morning
and found out that St. Louis has already bank in the misc fee (around HK$1K)....

I believe two of my son's classmates were accepted by St Louis. Honestly I have not done much research about it, but according to their parents, it seems to be a reasonably good school. It's not a top-tier school, probably above-average.

I understand the relief when the first offer came to us. It's like a float in an open sea when no boat or ship is in sight.

Howuch they cost u to secure the seat? They just asked me to bring a cheque book.

By the way, do u mind tell me which school you are waiting from central allotment? Mine is hrgps am section. And suddenly dunno what to choose just in case I am lucky on Saturday.

One month school fee ($2,600) plus the misc.
fee.

I'm waiting for St Joe and my son is now
studying at St. Joe Kinder......

so do you mean I have to register the government school from the lucky school even though I will not consider while waiting for the knocking result for the 1st priority?
I am quite confuse. I will register the private school offer this Saturday too.
