我個仔今年讀一年級,是不是真係好難應付, 只要我一講入左st.jo, 所有媽咪都同我講, "你大濟啦, 你要同個仔補習....等等"既嚇人說話, 想問下現在讀梗的師兄媽咪, 是不是真係那麼得人驚?

去年這個時候我也有相同的擔心，但結果仔仔這年讀得很開心，功課量也比我想象中小，我覺得和其他學校相比，ST. JOE 的小一功課量真的不算太多。
不需要擔心太多，我覺得這是一間好學校，可鼓勵仔仔多看中英文故事書，對將來的學習已經很有幫助。

Could you share with us more about the workload of this school? How many pieces of homework each day on average (include correction)? Do they have dictation once every week? Do they have their own orchestra where students are to learn musical instrument?

I could share some experience here:
1) I think the homework load is average, 5-6 pcs / day.
2) Eng & Chi dictations every other weeks
3) The school strongly encourages students to learn one kind of musical instrument, beside the recorder pipe which was taught in class.

I should say the school material is NOT exceptionally difficult. But it is true that competition are very keen between students and parents. Ranking are differ by decimal points!!
